It is good news for a change. Thanks so much for all the prayers. I could not believe all the responses. The spot on his back is not infection!! They think it could possibly be a pressure spot, but not sure. It is looking better today. The doctor did blood work, and his bloodwork is better than it has been since they did the surgery in March. It has made my day!! Thanks so much for being here for me!!

Wow, that's wonderful news!! I'm sure prayer made a difference, maybe this happened in order to show you that and how many people are standing behind you for support. I'm very happy for you and your son!

I cannot believe the responses and it is so nice to know that so many people care. It is also nice to talk with people that you don't upset because they are on the outside looking in and can give you advice. I am so relieved and it just made my day!! Thanks so much!!

Thank You Lord Thank You!!! You're right it is good news, but I can tell you now when I read your post and you said there was a red spot on your sons back, I did think I wonder if it could be the start of a bed sore from being in bed so much but I didn't want to say that and build your hopes to find out otherwise, but as it turned out It's All Good. God is Good! Thank You so much for the update I hope you can find rest now, it's been a hard pull for you folks.

It is great news. The therapist today said she don't think it is a pressure sore either. She said they don't look like that. As long as it keeps going away, I don't care, I know there was no abuse, and we did nothing to make it show up, so whatever it is, I guess it ok. We will see. It has been a long road and it is not over yet, as they will have to take him off the antibiotics sooner or later and then we may be in trouble again, but we hope they will be comfortable with removing the rods and having a strong back when they do.

Thanks for all the praying! The spot is getting lighter, but doesn't seem to be a pressure sore either. I am just glad it is not infection.

How wonderful to hear that the spot on his back is not an infection. I know that just hearing that has lifted your spirits dramatically. It is also wonderful to hear that his bloodwork is looking the best that it has in quite a while. I will continue to keep him and you in my prayers that the remainder of his recovery will go smooth so as to not cause undue stress to either yourself or to your son and the rest of your family.

Thanks for keeping us posted. You do have to watch those pressure spots, of course, but it is not a systemic problem. Good that his blood work is so good.

I'm glad he won't need any more surgery. At least not for a little while. I'm happy things are looking up for him. By the way, don't you live in Michigan? I'll be coming out that way mid-April and would like to meet both of you. Give him a hug for me and tell him to stay positive.
