Happy Being Single?

November 19, 2009 1:48am CST
I'm single for 2 years now. Sometimes I feel lonely but most of the time I'm happy! I really agree with the quote below: "Being Single means you're taking your time deciding how you want your life to be and who you want to spend it with." What about you? What are your thoughts and quotes on being SINGLE? Are you SINGLE? Do you want to be SINGLE? Do you love being SINGLE?

Yup. we shares the same boat though it being single for a long time is annoying i could not avoid it though one may like to be with me. the problem is I am not inspired to jump that is why feel pressure, let those who tease think hard they get a problem of their own to settle first before minding other people business., I may like to remain single though being sad is unavoidable and i like to have a sweetheart when it happen i may even long for freedom. i think i am in the middle between the two love being me.. single or not.

I was single for a loooong looong time. My ex bf rushed into an engagement after we broke up, cos he did not want to be alone. I do not want to be single now, because I am happy with who I am. But, if it was not him, I would be single. Being single is about investing in yourself, and having this investment turn out good for the rest of society. Being single is about appreciating your friendships, not only yourself. And if you ever have a relationship, after having enjoyed being single, you would have worked so much on yourself, that you will have a solid basis for a relationship. :)

I have been single for 2 years already.I love every minute of my single life.recently,I went on a trip to an amusement park with 2 couple friends.while I played the 5th wheel,I am happy.I am getting used to someone not looking out for me already, that I might have to adjust big time once I get into a relationship again.I just love spoiling myself.

I have been single for 2 years too..i`m female,32.and all of my friends are already married with kids, some of them are even divorce.. I agree..it is not about WHEN we end our single status but WHO we will spend our life with in the future because marriage is not about the ring, but COMMITMENT.Love is important, but still it is not ENOUGHif you don`t feel comfortable, why should you force yourself because everyone is already married? I don`t want to be single, but rather than force my heart to have relationship that is not based on my will,i prefer being single..but of course, i have a dream to marry someone who loves me and i love him too,who can understand each other,open-minded and ready to make commitment...hope you are all happy and your dream come true.GOD bless you always
