Safety is such a factor in all of our lives. We never know when something we do or don't do will turn the course of our lives. We take so many chances and risks everyday. Do we do enough to take necessary safety precautions? Wearing a seat belt while driving is one way to keep us safe. Do you always wear your seat belt while driving?

Sometimes when I forget to put on my seat-belt, my mom would knock on my head, LOL. It's just so funny, because I feel like I'm 3 years old all over again. I think she does that because she's very concerned about my safety and would want me to remember it all the time; even when she's not around to poke me. I've remembered since, because it's become like a habit to put on the seat-belt first before anything else.

Wearing seat belt is mantory in our country. Although in slow speed urban areas, seat belt might seem unnecessary, it is better to overdo than to neglect. Seat belts have saved so many lives on roads. I insist that drivers and passengers wear seat belts when onboard.

Queensland, Australia, (where I live) was the first in the world to introduce the compulsory wearing of a seat belt. Yes, I always wear a seat belt, not because there are heavy penalties for not doing so, but because I approve of the law and also because I seek to obey all the laws of my country. There have been odd cases where it is thought someone might have been better without a seat belt, but in the vast majority of cases, the wearing of a seat belt has saved lives or more serious injury.

Yes I always buckle up It is not only the safe thing to do but it is the law.I do not understand why some mothers do not pay attention to this law because I think the mothers should really take care for their kids and I have seen it all too many times when they are in an accident and the kid did not have a seat belt on this just irks me so bad!!!Also in the school zones I have noticed it is 90% mothers who are speeding through it how awful!

Hi sender, Yes, I always wear seat belt whenever I drive. I actually don't feel comfortable behind the wheel if I'm not wearing one, it's like something is missing. I also require my passengers (my kids, other family members) to wear their designated seat belt to ensure their safety.

Every single day I wear my seatbelt. Every since my brother (who never use to wear his seatbelt, EVER) decided one night to put his seatbelt on. He fell asleep at the wheel with the cruise set at 65mph and rear ended a semi. Yes he had bad bruising where the seatbelt was BUT, if he hadn't worn it, he would have flown through the windshield at 65mph into the back of a semi trailer...=/ So yes, I wear it everyday. PS.. He's fine btw! ...bruised ribs and chest and a large headache lol

Yes, I do. Its a law here in the Philippines. Before, I was really hesitant in putting on seatbelts, but after I got apprehended, it just became a routine. I do it first thing before I start my car.

I always wear my seat belt. Out of habit, it's usually the first thing I do when I sit down in the car. I don't understand why people don't fasten their seatbelt. It's designed for safety.

It is illegal here to not wear a belt. There are often spot checks hidden around twisty on/off ramps so that they may catch you.. I would not take the chance in not wearing a belt. better safe then sorry in all aspects of life.

I never drive a car. But I always wear a seat belt while travelling in the car when I am sitting in the front seat along with the driver. I too feel the same thing like you. Why to invite trouble and problem? Let us take precaution.

Hi, In my country it is the law that everyone wears a seat belt in a car. It is the drivers responsibility to ensure there passengers obey this leagl requirement. If you are stopped by the police you can be heavily fined and you will get penalty points on your driving license. Seat belts are essential for road safety and have save many peoples lives. It makes sense to wear one, no matter how short a road trip you intend on taking. Have a safe day.
