it's always been my wish not to get easily big since i was in my teens but that was remained as a wish, until i finally found myself in a gym, gosh it wasn't really that easy just like how those advertisement said about losing weight, but since i love myself and of course my family, i continue and routinely do what i had to do,i lost for about 5 lbs in a month it's a combination of a watchful diet and work outs in a gym three times a week, and i must say that it's more wiser and healthier if you really want to lose weight.

Very well done!! It's not necessary to go to a gym if one doesn't like it. I've trained in a gym for about one year but now what they offer doesn't match with what I need so I train at home. Anyways I'm really glad you feel well with it, everyone should do some exercize, home or gym doesn't matter, just do something! I lvoe 50 lbs (yes, 50), I've a clue about it, lol.

Things were so much easier until my height stopped. When I was getting taller and taller I could eat whatever I wanted and I would still look great. Then of course it stopped and studying and sitting at a desk had some nasty effects. Then I realized the perfect exercise a girl can do if she has some money: go clothes shopping! Seriously! The more stuff you try, the more calories you lose and the more calories you lose, more things look better on you and you just keep trying on stuff. One summer this exercise lost me 16 pounds!!!

i don't go to gyms because i don't like the much socialness of it. when i was skinny i did it at my house on a treadmill. also walking in the hills in the back of my neighborhood. once in awhile i'd go down to the community biking path. i found that i exercised everyday. but i didn't even do it for my family. i did it for myself! i didn't even try to get them to lose weight. i don't think that it is more wiser or healthier. it depends on the personality type.

It is good that you have kept the discipline of going to the gym. I agree that it is really hardworking working out but I think you would also agree if I say that it is all worth it. I used to go to the gym and I felt more energetic and healthier then. Now, I simply do not have the time to go to the gym. I try to watch my diet but I am not very disciplined about it. Have a nice day!

i dont go to gym.i try to keep myself fit with a combination of yoga and exercise.its easy to say you are going o gym.but it has its own disadvantages.i guess its better to exercise at home.its much better to see a fit body tahn a body with huge muscles.also yoga helps in improving your concentration and the balance between mind and body.anyways happy molotting and cheers.

I applaud you for treating your body so well. I hope you go on like that! In my case I don't need to lose any weight, but I was always feeling tired and very unhealthy. However since 2 months ago I began doing a lot of exercise and eating more vegetables, fruit, fish, etc. My body feels way better and healthier now, so I'll go on like this :)

Exercise out doors as far as possible. There are two advantages of doing whatever you are doing out side. One advantage is that it gives your body a chance to get a lot of the much needed fresh air and sunshine. The second advantage is that the surroundings keep you perked up and it is a break form remaining cooped up all day lon

losing weight was easier when i was younger! it sure isn't now that I'm in my forties! I haven't lost weight in years! I am currently morbid obese. I have been obese most of my life. I have gone down a few time like 50 lbs or more but never learnt to keep it off! Depression helped me become heavy! The other reason is I just let it happen! Now I decided I do need to lose some weight and eat healthier. I need to do some life style changes with food and etc. I have been eating less the past week and have started walking. I plan to try to eat healthier but not cut out anything! Just will eat less of thr real good stuff and see a therapist in the near future to figure out the food demons in me and get them undercontrol! I just don't want to get any fatter! It is time I work on getting my crap together!

Hi Yovillegirl, I am also into losing weight program but going to the gym is not included in it. I am watching my diet, less carbo and more on vegetables and fruits and i am doing the following exercises- aero dancing and yoga. Being fit is what we need to do to become more productive in life. What you're doing will really speed up the losing of weight mine will take time. i am considering of finding a gym where i can start my work out.
