why did you forgive those that offend you?

We forgive becaause the bible says we should forgive The golden rule love your brother as you love yourself.That means if you do not love your brother you will not forgive him and by so doing you do not foorgive yourself. Forgive as many time as you can to keep your live sweet

Because of the type of person that I am, I can forgive others quite easily, and only hold grudges if somebody has done something significantly terrible towards me. Usually, I find that it's utterly pointless to bear grudges because they serve no purpose other than to create unwanted tension and a negative atmosphere. If the person who has insulted me has apologised and is genuinely sorry, and the way in which they wronged me wasn't entirely bad, then I am more than willing to move on and forgive them. However, if that same somebody repeatedly does wrong against me or has pushed things to a whole new level of evilness, then there's more chance of them winning the Euromillions than me showing them forgiveness.

It really depends on what was done to me if I want to forgive or not. Most often times I'll forgive but I can't always forget. Somethings are cut too deeply into my soul to be able to forgive. For an example, I was raped by three neighborhood guys when I was just 13 years old. Have I forgiven them? No. Should I? Yes in the eyes of God, I should but I just can't. Maybe some day I'll be able to but not just yet.

Because most everything is forgivable. Because I might need to be forgiven some day. It's just easier. Whe wants to walk around ticked off all the time? We all make mistakes.
