There's all these reality shows and no sitcoms they used to have them no they have maybe a few if your lucky. They have everyone likes Raymond ,but I miss the good old shows I don't know if you'd go as far to say they were classics ,but they were good. Like happy days and Brady bunch and mash and Roseanne.they don't even have sci-fi so much anymore more since the producer died. People now are buying the shows they used to watch and are watching that. That's go to tell u something, I like CSI that's great show and Nsci ,but then there's a lot of crap. What's your out look on that?

I have notice that there is not to many comedy shows on TV. I do get a channel that has some of the old ones once in a while and watch the repeats. I also like CSI and NCIS and all the other CSI's and the new NCIS is good. You would think with all the channels on TV there would be something to watch but there are days that you can not fine anything good. I do not like to many of the reality shows. I watch American Idol and Dancing with the Stars most of the time.

I haven't because I didn't bother to subscribe from a cable company. We just buy DVDs and read the news in the internet. Whenever I watch the telly in the office. I only find travel shows worth watching. The rest is rubbish.

Yes, I have noticed this also. In fact because of this, I barely watched tv anymore. Though I do watch tv when it involves the news. But other than that, no more. I just go online and enjoy mylot and other sites that I enjoy to learn as well as to earn.

Hello Robyn28 this is checkmail and often do watch some television, but selected series from all of it.Yeah mostly i don't like the serials based more on relationships, they are too much emotional.Well like to watch some comedy shows, Dance contests, singing contests, Money quiz shows, Kids shows, even soemtimes new movies, etc.but yes there have been reduction in the quality of programs not as earlier use to be.Earlier i used to watch a lot of epic serials but not its all animated things so its just reality for me.

I agree there is nothing worth watching much on TV nowadays. All the good down to Earth shows have left the air or are in reruns that unless you have cable or satellite you do not get. I used to watch TV all the time when I was home so did my kids but now we could care less really for TV. CSI, Law and Order, NCIS, House and Ghost Whisper is about the only thing left as in TV shows to watch and now they are messing up some of them force viewers away from them. I buy things I like on DVD and watch them I could care less for TV anymore and I was an addict to TV. I miss Soaps too for almost all of them are gone now and what is left has to many characters to keep up now. I miss "another world", "Santana Barbara", "search for tomorrow" and ones like that. I am a "Days" Fan but have lost the addictiveness of it now with all the story lines going at once. Got to love "Peter Reckel" though. I have noticed though most of the soap characters are now going between shows and working more then on sometimes now. I also love watching "criminal minds" and "without a trace" and "cold case" these are good shows and very helpful to show kids what can happen in our world we live in. We need to make it known we want more shows like these to get them on the air. I keep asking myself who puts this stuff on TV? For every one I know likes similar things like myself. "Touched by an Angel", "highway to heaven", "little House on the prairie",etc..I say bring these classics as some will call them back and ones like them. Good Wholesome TV.

CSI is made very professionally and that is why so many people like it. Most TV shows are so boring. I don't watch so much TV even the news. I read news on the internets and watch movies and videos on youtube. Internet is such a great thing. It gives you so much freedom to do what you want.

I have been noticing that for a long time. All my old favourites have disappeared. I mean Aussie favourites, and some English and American favourites. We have some great shows here, my favourite being "Patol Boat", but thats only on for about 6 months of the year. There were a lot of great English shows, and my daughter and I discovered that we can get them on DVD. Mostly now I watch the news.

There are definitely a lot of repeats! I think the worst time is at Christmas, they seem to show the same movies over and over. I love the Hallmark channel and they show a lot of good programs on that channel. I love television as a whole but I guess I concentrate mainly on the news channels. I'm sure that tv will improve over time once more! Andrew

I have noticed too that the last years tv has turned worse and worse. When I was a kid I would spend hours watching tv, as there were lots of funny tv programs, series or cartoons. Now it's all about reality shows, gossip programs, or such. I'm not sure if tv channels can make money with that.
