What are the habits of your partner that you don't like? the habits that annoy you most? It is to be understood each one is different with different interests, ideas and tastes. So it is quite natural that some habits of your partner may irritate you and vice versa. can you share them with us?

I hope you realise this discussion can never end, right? No matter how perfect the other one is for you, there will always be small things that annoy you . For example, my boyfriend always leaves stuff lying arround.I'm not the type that likes to clean or have anything in order, but he is a real torado!. after he passed through a room, it looks like ahurricane stroke it! Other than that, he's a real sweetheart. I've heard couples breaking up because they couldn;t stand the other persons' habits. This seems a bit extreme to me, but if you were to chose, which habit you think would make you say a definite good-bye to your partener? Note : I saw the result of a survey recently that presented snorring as the first reason for divorce!! The second in this top ten was cheating. Can you believe that??

Your boy friend is a typical boy,so be happy about it, lol. Going for a divorce for snoring is utter meaningless. we need to adjust with such things. cheating seems to be a better reason for a divorce.

Thanks Reyachan for sharing lots of information. In India people will not go for a divorce unless there is a serious issue. Divorce rate is very less here compared to other countries. Unfortunately the divorce rate is increasing alarmingly here too, this is what I am worried about. My children and grandchildren may not have peaceful married life as my ancestors had before.

I totally agree with you! It should be a better reason, but appearently some don't think so. I know men that sleep in different room as their wives because they snore. My neighbour for example is one of them. In summer , when his window is open, he can be heard from a blick away. His poor wife is litteraly desperate. Some people really can't ajust to certain habbits their parteners have and leave. My personal belief is that the study i was talking about, the one where snorring is stated as the primary motive for divorce proves one thing : people are selfish! They put their own confort above anythign else. There are many that cheat and get forgiven because of their parteners' fear of loneliness. It is sad, but also true. As for my dear boyfriend, yes, he's the regular average guy and I love him for that. I met so many weirdos in my life that finally meeting a normal person feels great! And though I sometimes get angry because he messes up his place (or mine)it's a minor detail that will never influence my feelings for him.

This is discriminatory! I will have to report to mylot admin. We are nearing month end, and everybody is struggling with their targets, and here you come up with a discussion in which many cannot participate. :) Well, it is not necessary to be in a relationship to get annoyed with anybody, is it? LOL.

yes, any body can participate in this discussion vandana.Only thing is they must have got annoyed by somebody(I bet they have so much to share, lol)Don't worry, this month balance will be carried for the next month. So consider it as a saving. BTW, don't get annoyed by this habit of mine to post discussion where those who have no partners can't participate. I hereby change the topic: you can talk about annoying habits of your dear ones, need not be your life partner alone,

My father has three habits that annoy me. a) He keeps the house very dirty and when I try to settle it, he scold me saying I lose his papers. b) My father rarely finds anything he has misplaced, and when he cant find it, I am invariably blamed. c) My father doesnt get ready for breakfast before 10 in the morning delaying my entire day's routine. d) My father has more time for others than he has for me. e) My father doesnt understand either finances or social etiquette, but he invariably lands me into soup like letting the cat out of bag. f) My father takes on more than he can handle and then mishandles it and grumbles. Having said all that about my father, let me tell you saving grace, nobody else can stand by you like him through thick and thin. Nobody else can look at you as you are and not respect or disrespect you based on your financial status. Nobody else can be as caring as he can be when you are sick. I love this old man a lot. :(

hahaha, vandana, The answer is very simple. he is a typical man and you are a typical woman. It happens in every Indian home. I can understand how much you love your dad. I sincerely pray God to give him a very longggggg life.
