Do you find that after a Holiday or celabration the next day is terribly long? I would guess it's a type of depression but what do you do about it? I try to stay busy as much as possible but it still is a long day.

thinking about the day after the holiday is usually a bore,it is so difficult for me to bring myself back into work rhythem,i condition my mind by telling myself that i need to work tommorrow to earn my livelihood.

Yes, it seems to be a very long day! After a day of laughter and conversation and eating together, here I was with just my dogs and an inbox full of work with both articles and mylot. It was a let down, to be sure. But I'm so happy to have had that day!

Not really. It feels like that when I am waiting for the holiday to get here. Seems like it takes forever. Hope the day speeds up for you.

Hi, Pat! I'm too busy to get depressed, and these internet breaks are a necessity. Still, I've been exhausted from the moment I woke up, and I think that's sort of the let-down after having such great fun!

I just stay busy too. I have had a few of those after holiday blues days. I think that it's because you are so excited and wound up and then boom..it's over and things are back to normal. Staying busy is the best for me too.

I think you are probably right. There is a sort of post-holiday letdown after all the work and excitement and such. I ususally spending the day after doing relaxing things and catch an afternoon nap, which really seems to help. Karen
