What do you do to save money?

As weird as this may sound, I quit my part time job to save money. I found that working just enough hours in the day to be able to get home in time for the kids to begin the running around with the various activities prevented me from cooking good meals and shopping efficiently. I ended up spending more money in eating out and eating on the run. The small amount of money I made during the day was being literally eaten up each evening. I found that quitting my job added more to the financial bottom line of our family. Go figure.

I love to save money and save more money than my Parents. Lolz. Well, whenever i have extra money i just bring out them from my college bag and save them on a saved place and then buy bonds with my money. I spend money in rupees {rupee is currency of my country, Pakistan} but never spend bonds but once i did so. I use this trick to save my money. I just buy prize bonds with my money.

I deposit in post-office savings account.
