Hi ravinder18, I would prefer swimming at open sea to swimming pool. It is because swimming pools are usually crowded with people and the water there is not changed often and less circulating. It is just filtered at regular hours. The water is clean or not highly depends on whether the people using it are clean or hygiene concerned. In Hong Kong, many people urinate when swimming in the pool, and some of them do not have a habit to rinse their bodies before going into the pool water. so I do not like to swim in swimming pools. Though the beaches in Hong Kong are not clean enough or a bit polluted, I still find it better to swim in the sea. I can go the beaches which have high grading, like B or B+. Moreover, swimming in the sea make me feel more freedom. Have a nice day! agonyaunt69 (10:40pm 28 November 2009 Hong Kong time)

I agree with you. Most swimming pool at my place also same as yours place. I prefer open sea. Swimming pool at my place are dirty and too crowded with people. Open sea make me feel more free. I don't have to worry about shark because so far there is no shark problem reported here.

I prefer the swimming pool. I can't swim in the sea as salty water damages my eyes a lot. Also, I get scared easily when something I'm not expecting touches me. That doesn't happen in the swimming pool, as you can see easily through water, so swimming pool is my choice.

I defeniatly prefer swimming in the pool! I do not like swimming in dark, deep, open bodies of water. I'm afraid of sharks and other water predators, sooo I defeniatly am happy swimming in my own pool. I don't have to worry about anything, and I can enjoy it!

Well, I prefer both. Most of the pools here use chloroform (I think) which makes my skin dry and it has this smell. In the open sea I don't know where I'm stepping at, like rocks or maybe there's this broken glass, and I'm afraid also especially if will go swimming in more deeper part of it which I imagine having a shark underneath me.
