hi I went there and I have to sign up and go through all this long winded malarky and then they will mail me something when I think I can still do that from childhood, its just a matter of folding some white paper in a certain way then cutting out however you want the snow flake to look like.when you unfold the properly folded paper after you cut out everything you are supposed to cut you will have a unique snowflake. I will try it and comment back. lol lol lol

I can do the paper folding one as well. I learned that, like Hatley, in elementary school. Love it either way.

I got this in an email and did not realize that registration was required. It was fun and less messy than making your own.

Seems like there is always something like this posted around the holidays. I'd have to register or I'd make one, but since registration is required... Happy ... Merry Christmas!

This is so funny. I just posted a direct link, not through BHG to make the snowflake. It is the same site, popularfront/snowdays. I hope we get lots of mylot snowflakes going.

Last winter I found a site similar to that one around the holidays and my children and I had a blast with it, especially my then five-year-old. This year, though, I think we are going to try to do the paper ones with the kids. Since I have two preschoolers during the day, I think they will get a kick out of it because they love to have paper to cut and though I don't think the result will be great, I really like to let them try with activities that help them to develop their small muscle control.
