Black Friday Shopping

I'm the type of person who will shop online for Christmas just to avoid the crowds and long lines. I will never understand people getting up early, standing on line outside before the store opens and shopping with the lunatics just to get a good deal on a Christmas gift. Ok did you go to the store yesterday? Did you wait on long lines? Did you wait on line outside overnight waiting for the store to open. Did you really get a good deal for what you wanted/needed or was it a waste of time?

There is nothing in this world that would get me out in those crowds, I didn't even go out on Sat. but had to go get food early this morning, so I just beat the crowds there. I'm shopping on line as much as possible this year.

Yes I too haven't been out since Wednesday and I also plan on buying most of my gifts online too. I can't deal with the crowds at all. Thanks for responding.

Everything I plan on buying will probably be online too. Maybe I will pick up small things when I'm out but I also don't plan on standing in long lines. Thanks for responding.

I did not go to a single store yesterday. I hate waiting in line and I hate fighting the crowds. Is actually am almost done shopping and I did the majority of my shopping on line. It is just more convenient to do so and shipping is free at most on line sites so why not. I found everything on my kid's Christmas lists on line and I didn't have to run from store to store to get them. That is totally worth it to me. When ever I have tried to go for one of those sweet deals in the past the store is usually out of the item.

Yes, I agree with you. Its so much easier online then dealing with the crowds. All the shopping I have done so far has been online too. It makes my life easier. Thank you so much for responding.

No way I was going anywhere near the stores this year. I have done Black Friday before. Not the all nighter but the early bird one. It was a madhouse then and I can not imagine what it was like Friday with as hard as things have been for people. I have yet to hear anything on the news about anyone being hurt though which is a good thing.

I know I have never gone shopping on Black Friday its just ridiulous how people act. Like last year when that poor man was trampled and killed at Walmart. I can't imagine how that man's family is doing a year later and how their Christmas will never be the same. Thanks for responding.
