How Often Do You Clean Up Your Unresolved Discussions?

I have a really bad habit of just letting my unresolved discussions rack up. When I logged in tonight to MyLot, I had around 10 pages of unresolved discussions. I have been working on resolving them for over an hour now and I'm finally down to 4 pages, but I still have a long way to go to be finished. Do you let your unresolved discussions rack up like I do then try to play "catch-up" later? How often do you clean up your unresolved discussions?

Hey singlemommy! I think you do a wonderful job in being able
to start so many discussions! I wish I could think of so many
wonderful subjects like you do! You truly have some great
discussions so it is no wonder you have trouble keeping them
all resolved! I had finally checked mine out one day (and my
friends know I hardly ever even start any) and was surprised
to see that I had any at all!lol I would think that 10 pages
of unresolved discussions shows that you really are doing an
incredible job of just being able to keep that many discussions
going! I really give you alot of credit! Don't worry about it!
You are appreciated for what you do! Don't stress yourself
about rushing to "resolve"! You always comment on your discussions
too which is something alot of mylotters don't even bother doing!
Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy my discussions. I try to keep up with them as best I can, but sometimes I don't do as good of a job as I should. I appreciate all your comments on my discussions, you always seem to bring a little something special to all my discussions. Thanks!

Awe wow, you have me almost in tears. Being a single mother isn't the easiest task and it really does mean a lot to me to see someone take note of it. I love my kids and they are my biggest priority in life. I want them to grow up happy and knowing that every minute of every day they were in my thoughts and loved. Thanks so much again!

Hey singlemommy! That's because you are a very special lady and
I so admire you for everything you do! You are a single mom and
you work a full time job and still have time to take care of your
kids and post here! That takes a very special person to juggle
all those things! It is always my very special pleasure to
participate in your discussions! You are a very intelligent
woman and don't ever let anyone tell you anything else! Hugs, Opal

I am assuming unresolved means where I have not selected a best response?? If that is the case, I have a long way to go.. It is going to take me some time to do this.. I did not even realized what I had to do with these discussions.. I better find out what I have to..
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, especially mines.

Yup, that's exactly what I'm talking about, discussions that need a best response. Good luck resolving your discussions!

hi there! I let it stay on unresolved for two weeks or more, then i'll decide which one has the best response. It is just sometimes hard to choose, there are bunch of great responses I received from our fellow mylotter.

Yes, sometimes it is hard to figure out which user to give the best response.

When i start, i usually respond to all that is in my inbox. Its not as many as yours i think that's why.

I go in every two weeks and give out the best response. On occasion I'll forget and I wait for three weeks, but usually I remember. One mylotter in particular confounds me. Half an hour and the girl has done the best response. I don't know why.

Now I clean them up atleast weekly if I am busy with my writing or something else. But if I am not doing much then I get back to them about every other day or so. I used to not even respond to alot of them because I got so many. Now I have gotten to where I don't have so many members I get emails from so it is not as bad.

Hi, SingleMommy!
I will try to clean my 'unresolved' discussions once in a while, to be exact, twice in a month because sometimes I am having a hard time in marking the best response as I think there is more than one best response. Therefore, I will give myself a little longer to decide, but I will try to resolve them all before this coming New Year.

Hello singlemommy this is checkmail and am not keeping any unresolved discusison for more than 3-4 weeks normally. And myself have started a few discusison as get more fun while respondign to the discussions. But yes there are some discussion where there are less no of quality responses, i have kept that discussion till now must be 2-3 weeks.Else the other discussion with some quality responses have been resolved by me, and think we should resolved it atleast once in a month, and week.
I resolve mine discussion within 1-2 weeks depending upon the responses counts and its quality.Enjoy Mylotting.

Some I leave open longer than others because I am not looking for a specific response, rather a whole bunch of different opinions. In the case of others I am looking for a specific answer to a question, and those ones will be resolved as soon as the question is answered.

If I only had 10 pages, I'd be happy. Nearly every discussion I've ever started is unresolved! I just never have the time--when I'm not replying to discussions, I'm writing articles or taking care of other business. I've said before that I should devote just 15 minutes a day to resolving but I've never done it. Today I may start!
