I would buy a goalkeeper and a experience striker to replace Van persie at the moment . Probably i would buy Jussi jassienlien from bolton and Benni mccarthy from blackburn ( because he might be on a budget price ) .

Why buy another Goalie? I think Almunia is pretty decent...

Ya though Arsenal have blown away there chances this year......... I think they will be the team to beat next year........They have a great young team who just needs some exposure.......... Vela,Bentner,Eduardo........all are fantastic players for the future............... Bt if Wenger is given money.....i would say he needs a good striker........probably Do Santos from Barcelona..........

Two things 1. Bolster the defensive midfield position. Alex Song is awesome but we need someone of his calibre he cannot be playing throughout the season. 2. An Experienced Striker like Darrent Bent who can score 8-10 goals for the remainder of the season. 3. Hire a witch doctor who can help with injuries!

I'd cry into my cornflakes. Arsenal had a great chance this year, and have pretty much blown it (in the League)... They were unlucky against United, really should have beaten West Ham and were slaughtered by Chelsea - and they have lost their top goal threat in RVP. I don't think another player will be able to fit in at Arsenal if bought in the January transfer window; it takes time. I'd probably not buy anyone, as I think the team is really strong. Just focus on the Champions League, get the team playing good football together - try again next year! (The squad could use a little depth... But what squad couldn't?)

it makes you give up with your ambition and think only finish in third place or fourth as long as arsenal will be the list of England club in Champions League next year.

I would like to buy a replacement striker for RVP.. someone like rudd van nistelrooy who is surplus of requirement for a club like Real. so that when rvp is back there will be no fight for starting place.. nistelrooy is 33 and can be used as a super sub.

Hmmm. If i was arsene wenger i would definitely go for a striker. That too an experienced one who can cover up RVP. also i feel that they lack little low in the left back area. So i would try for a left back too due to the injury of clichy and gibbs. But considering everything in mind i would not go for a striker who is very costly in the market but would prefer an experienced one who would be cheap andd fetch me with good goals from the front.
