yelambar i prefer the desktop because it is less expensive and for the same price i could get a lot of additional hardware.. besides laptop has a lot of shortcomings like battery life, expensive upgrades and i find the touch pad really troublesome.

Hi i'm planning to invest in a good mid range video card for my desktop. I would like to do photo editing on Photoshop and maybe use 3d Max and play some latest action games. Which one do you guys suggest? nvidia or Ati?...

yelambar I do not think the current form of online learning will replace classroom teaching, unless there are Virtual Class Rooms where you wear the head gear and enter a virtual world just like the Aerosmith video amazing! Thanks!

yelambar here are some good colleges.. i wouldnt say top 5 though Ferguson College, Pune Stephens, Delhi Xavier's, Bombay thts all i can think of right now

yelambar it could be a nuisance program. Check and see if show hidden files is on. you can also boot to dos and check the files in C using the dir command to see if it is actually true.
