I am talking about forgetting things that are obvious. The other day i went to the supermarket to buy some groceries and just when i was getting ready to enter it I realized i forgot my wallet at home. Another similar hilarious happening is one of my neighbor who went with his car to the market and came home on foot and only remembered about the car when his wife asked him where the vehicle is... Do you make silly mistakes ? Name some... PS: I only blame my Panda for them.

LOL...........I call my mistakes the result of menopausal memory loss. At my age, I can get away with it, though to be honest, forgetting where I put my keys, or leaving my grocery list on the table at home when I go shopping, or putting the dog out and going to bed without bringing her in, are more the result of just not paying attention to details and there's no excuse for that. It's when I forget names and dates and the chronology of events that I really worry whether my menopausal memory is moving into Alzheimer's instead. Now I'd better go bring the dog in out of the snow, as I forget I'd put her outside! LOL

Hello Sparks. Well i do some of those things as well- like loosing my keys (i lost my wallet today and after searching for half an hour i found it under the bed o.O), or forgetting the grocery list at home (luckily i remember most of the item on the list and manage to do shopping anyway).

I often forget my shopping list, but like you I remember most of what's on the list. My memory loss is almost always coming dowstairs (or going upstairs) to get something and then forgetting when I get there why I came.

Hahaha! That is so funny about your neighbor's car! God I do stupid stuff all the time. This is embarassing, but I often lose my glasses. Then I got to look in the mirror only to realize they're still on my face! I'm such an idiot! That's probably the stupidest thing that I do the most often. Oh! The other day I was using my cell phone to look up a recipe while I was cooking. I put my food in the oven to let it bake and then came into the living room. I then got back up to grab my cell fromt he kitchen but then was baffled when it wasn't there. I started looking all around the kitchen and then came back into the living room to see if maybe I had brought it with me... Where was it, you're asking.... It was in my HAND!!! How stupid can I get! Ah, poor me...

I do the opposite. I never use my glasses to read or use the computer. Before I go to bed I still try to take them off and I'm surpised they aren't there.

LOL! Well, at least you remembered before you actually went in. I've done something similar liike that before. The only difference is that I had a cartful of groceries that had already been scanned by the check out clerk. It was only when it was time to pay for them that I realized that I had forgotten my debit card at home. And I had no cash on me, so I had no way to pay...or so I thought. I was so embarrassed! I told the cashier and she was very understanding. She said that she would get someone to put away the unpaid cartload of groceries for me. I jumped in my vehicle and started driving home. Not even a mile later I remembered that I had my checkbook on me and I could pay that way! Duh! I felt so foolish. I was so used to paying by my debit card that I had completely forgotten about my checkbook! So, I made a U-turn and headed back to the store. Thinking that one of the employees there had already taken away the cartload of groceries I shopped all over again. When I got up to the checkout counter I went to the same girl that had helped me earlier. When she saw me she said something about how I didn't have to shop again...they still had the original cart of groceries waiting for me! OMG, I felt even worse than before. Not only because they saved the cart for me, but because I wasted time getting another basketful of groceries! But at least it worked out in the end and I was finally able to take my groceries home with me. LOL Happy mylotting!

I think a lot of people have experienced the missing wallet one. I've done that a few times myself. I think the silliest thing for me was this one time when I thought I lost my glasses. I was running around like a crazy person looking for it. After a while, my sister pointed out that it was on my head. I had pushed it up and forgot that I left it there. I was kind of embarrassed at the time but now it's a good story for laughs. Another time I was looking for my glasses again but it turned out that I was actually wearing them at the time. I didn't even notice that I had them on. My mom was looking at me like I was stupid.

I've done both of those things. Fortunately, although I'd actually gotten out the door with the glasses I had put in a pouch in my purse to keep them from breaking in the cart, I discovered them in time to go back in and pay for them.

Everyone blames the panda..... I'm notorious for spending time meticulously putting together a detailed shopping list for gorcery shopping and then ALWAYS leaving the list at home. I then get to the supermarket, realise my mistake AGAIN and then end up buying a whole heap of crap I don't need and forgetting to buy the important stuff. I also once got on the wrong school bus after a visit to the Dentist as a child and ended up clear across town. It took several hours for me to be picked up and returned to the right school and given my age at the time, I honestly thought I was gonna die! lol

I often go after something in another area of the house only to forget what I'm after. My keyboard was sticking something awful so I went and spent $5 on compressed air today and cleaned it. It still stuck. Well, DUH!! I changed the batteries and it's good as new! I keep forgetting about batteries. Today I realized I needed to cook the asparagus I bought before it goes bad so I prepared it and put it in the pan of water and turned on the burner. Then I came in to answer some mail until suddenly I heard the smoke alarm going off! My asparagus, all $2.25 of it, had burned when the water evaporated! Luckily it won't go to waste, my dogs just ate half of it as part of their dinner--they think it's better than steak!

LOL The silly thing that I could think of at the top of my head was when I was running late for school and I was already in my school uniform:check, my backpack:check, my hair scrunchee:check, my shoes: check, wallet, handkerchief, pen, coins: check, check, check and check. I was out the door and was one step out the gate when I realized that my hair is still wrapped in a towel! Good thing there werent any people outside so no one saw me.^_^ Another incident was when I was going to run an errand. I changed clothes and have everything set, and was about to walk out the door, when I saw that my slippers were still my soft home slippers with the dog's stuffed head on the toes.

Oh I also forgot something rather embarrassing. Just last week, I went in to take a shower without taking my clothes into the bathroom. I felt kind of retarded. Not getting into details.

Silly mistakes in the grocery: I have one! The other day I went to the grocery to get some lemons. I was planning to broil some salmon dipped in lemon juice. While I was at the grocery, I though I might as well get other stuff, like breakfast cereal, milk, a loaf of bread, etc. because I was already there; and to save the trip. Yep I did all that! Only to realize when I got home that I forgot to buy one thing! Lemons!

I just cant stop laughing at your neighbor.. how can he possibly forget the car? however, forgetting to bring the wallet is natural sometimes..I tend to forget mine many times and I just end up going back and do nothing that I planned to do for the day..You see, this is also the reason why I don't bring umbrellas with me coz I always forget I'm bringing one and I end up losing it..I done it many times that I cant count how many umbrellas I lost already..lol

I'm always making silly little mistakes that are very frustrating and drive me crazy to no end. For example, when I need to rush upstairs to grab something, or feel like putting on a pair of socks for example, I will usually get distracted by something or someone else, only to completely forget about why I am upstairs in the first place, before walking back down them only to remember what it was I needed after I reach the bottom. Annoys me EVERY TIME! Other mistakes include forgetting to take my ID when I'm out and, one everybody can relate to, mis-placing my keys only to realise that I cannot find them when it's absolutely urgent. Oh well, all these little mistakes are all part of life I suppose, although I guess it would be much easier and save me much frustration if they weren't.

Usually when I'm running late for work or for a date, I lose track of how much coins or small bills I have with me that I couldn't take the jeep or bus to get to the place (I would die if the driver were to scold me for lack of change). I end up taking a cab and wishing the person I came to see would have enough to pay for my fare ;)

hi elitess! Nobody is perfect. People makes silly mistakes. I admit i made hundreds or even thousands of mistakes in my life. Mostly because of forgetfulness and sometimes because of too many responsibilities to do. One instance that had happen is that, i was driving my car with my friend. It was about my mobile phone, I have received a text message on my phone, yet since i am driving, i let my friend who was with me to read the message for me. Then a few minutes, my friend and me reached our destination. I went out of my car, then walk with my friend. Another couple of minutes, i suddenly have gone wild, when i reached my pocket my cellphone was not there, then i looked inside my bag still no cellphone.. But i have not asked or told my friend that i was looking for my cellphone. SO i hurried back to my car to find them, by all sweat from running there was no cellphone to be found.. Then i feel melted, worried and almost starting to cry, since i really need and love my cellphone. So i just stayed in my car, recalling where i last used my cellphone. Forgetting everything that had happen when i was driving..Then my friend arrived, asking what happen to me, as if i saw a ghost or more than that. Then i told her that i lost my cellphone.. After all those times, my friend was the one holding and keeping my cellphone... tsk..tsk. LOL

My silly mistake is forgetting stuff in my car and my apartment. I'm rarely using my car, so I always go outside with my apartment key. One time I went to my car and bring only my car key.
