I took my daughter to the mall today, and she was telling me a story as we made our way to the food court. Suddenly in the middle of her story, she shouted very loudly. A few people around jumped. It was funny, but i was humiliated. Whats the most humiliating thing that has happened to you lately?

I think the most embarassing thing that has ever happened to me is when i got scolded for jumping in a puddle, and not even by my own parent. I was walking with my friend, and it was rainy, and wet outside. Normally i never go outside when its like this, because i have a fear of slugs... and they come out when its yucky outside. Anyway, I remembered there being a giant pothole at least 8 inches deep, at the end of my street. So me and my friend headed down there. He didnt know that that is where we were going, he assumed we were just walking for no paticular reason. When i approached to puddle, his eyes got all big and he started telling me "dont you dare", "dont do it!". Later, I had to explain to his mother that it was my fault that he's all wet, and he didnt do anything wrong. His mom and my mom are friends, and shes pretty cool, but sadly, she grounded me. xD I dont regret it though, it was fun.

It was when we were looking at our house before we bought it. The owner was showing me around and telling me that the previous tenants had painted without her permission, I thought she was talking about the room we were standing in, so I said "Oh no, and they picked this horrid pink color on top of it"..Her reply.."The color is salmon and I painted this, they did the kitchen"..I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me. It was a few years ago, and I still cringe every time I think of it.

tarcher219 hi the most really really embarrassing thing that happened to me was about a year ago. I was intent on getting to Trader joes to get somethings I could not find in Vons. well I had about two blocks to walk.I passed several people on my walk into the courtyard of the mall where Trader Joes was. a lady in a new car pulled up alongside me and beckoned to me. she said in a sweet low voice, maam your skirt is tucked up in the top of your panties. I thanked her profusely , my face I know was red as I pulled my skirt down where it belonged. this incident put new emphasis on the word embarrassed.think about it, I had embared my a## and walked that way two whole blocks and not a soul had the nerve to tell me what was going on. that dear lady sAved me from going into the store like that and having a zillion people see my embarrassment for sure.

The most humiliating thing that has ever happened to me was when I was interview and I coughed into my hand and to my horror, flem had been coughed up into my hand. I did my best to continue with the interview with my hand cupped under the table, hoping that the interviewer didn't see. I didn't get the job - and I didn't shake hands with the interviewer when I left. I just wanted to get the hell out of here. I can laugh about it now but back then - well what can I say.

I was walking through Walmart with my mother. She was telling me something about her day at work when she suddenly belched very loudly. Then she kept going with her story despite the fact that people were looking. I just kept thinking "she didn't even acknowledge that it happened."
