I wonder how many people have heard of or joined BigCrumbs. This site is Free to join and saves you money. I use it whenever I shop at ebay and they pay me cash back for the purchase I was going to make anyway. The best part is after signing up I found out that you can save money at lots of other online retail sites. I have earned over $25 cash back from them for my purchases and an additional $6+ from my friends purchases. Yes you can Earn money here too- And it is still FREE- you never pay them a dime, THEY PAY YOU. How can it get any better to shop than that. I only wish I had heard of this site BEFORE I purchased my CAR on ebay! I love ebay- but I like saving money even more. For those of you that are interested in saving money on those purchases you were going to make anyway check out the BigCrumbs banner on my page. Do you know of any other ways to save money online? Do you have links to places we can get Coupons? In this economy, I really need to save more. My roommate lost his job and penny pinching has become a way of life. :) Any advice welcome.

I've used eBay but never heard of BigCrumbs. Lately I've been trying to sell more on eBay than buy. BigCrumbs sounds a bit like another new website, Blastoff. Blastoff has a "mall" that links to 400 different on-line websites where you can buy things and get some money back. The sites include places like Sears, Barnes and Noble, Target, Best Buy, Expedia, and many others. If you go through Blastoff, you can access the same interface sites for the vendors as normal, except you get a percentage of what you spend back. Plus, what can make this more special, is if you sign up others under you. You'll get a small percentage back from what they spend which runs 10 levels down. So the more people that sign up under you or people you sign up, the greater your potential earnings are. I have a link for the website on my profile page in mylot so you can check it out and decide if you want to try it. It costs nothing to sign up (so you won't lose anything) but I believe it's limited to only North America at this point. If you have any questions about Blastoff post a response to this.

That sounds almost exactly like BigCrumbs. Do they offer deals and coupon codes to some of the retailers too. I might check it out.. Can't hurt having another site earning for you.. BigCrumbs also helps ebay sellers- they have a section where you can promote your store too. They have lots of sellers on there. Thanks for the info!

Ok- I signed up under you I like the way you can have a customized page. But on looking around I noticed a few things. First off, you don't get paid until you accumulate $20.. BigCrumbs pays you whatever is in your account every month. If it is a nickel- you get .05 in your paypal account! If its $150.. you get that too - minus a few cents never more than $1.00 for paypla charges. They pay by check.. -okay but I prefer instant access the day of. not then waiting for a check to be delivered. Also, I noticed many unhappy people in the forum/community -not everyone seems to be getting their rewards, sites disappearing, money earned disappearing.. all kinds of stuff. And one person said something about sending in receipts... do you have to do that here? It looks interesting but I am not so sure it is a trustworthy and reliable as BigCrumbs.

I have to check it out further. From the original webinars, they said you would get paid monthly. Right now they owe me $1.43 which is a refund for two books that I bought from Barnes and Noble. For that, I used a $10 off gift card that I earned for doing surveys at a different site. When I looked at my account, I thought that they would send the check when I asked for it. However, I bought some perfume from Fragrance.com and wanted to combine the refunds so I said I would wait until the total refund was higher. (As an aside, I've used Fragrance.com for a few years now because of their prices and the fact that they have a large supply of perfumes including older scents that are harder to find.) In one sense, it would not surprise me if they have a limit on the minimum for a check. I've been doing surveys at a few different sites and they all have minimums. A few are at $5 but most are at $10. Toluna just switched from $10 to $20 and another site (Valued Opinions?) issues $20 Visa cards. To me it doesn't make sense to issue a lot of small checks considering the cost to print the checks and the cost to mail them out. However, I will check to see what the limit is becasue I want to know myself. I'll also check out the forum, which I'll admit I haven't done as yet. I know Blastoff only started in October. They linked up with Pre-Paid Legal, a company that sells legal insurance to get started. They had over 250,000 people sign up in the first few days and the website even crashed due to the volume of sign ups. With that number of people plus all the others that signed up later, they may still be working the kinks out of the system. For example, they should have notified me when you signed up, but I haven't gotten an e-mail yet. But I'll check things out. I am an associate with Pre-Paid Legal which is a 38 year old company, listed on the stock exchange, which has been written up in magazines like Forbes as being a great company. I'm sure they don't want to damage their reputation by partnering with a bad operation. If it looks bad, I'll talk to my director.

I think your BigCrumbs is a great idea. In the Spring I may go for it! That is good to know that we can save on Ebay. I don't buy that much stuff that I really need to be a part of something like this. If I hear of anyone who might do well with it I will turn them on to the referral.

Thank you for telling me about BigCrumbs. I hadn't heard of it. I recently joined ebates.com, which has a similar program, except it pays 2% of your purchase price instead of 36% of the fees that the eBay's sellers pay. It probably works out to about the same, plus ebates currently has a signup bonus of $5 payable once your earnings surpass $5. Like BigCrumbs, ebates also has discount-earnings from a wide variety of popular internet merchants. I've also belonged to MyCoupons.com which has an active forum that you might find of use. I found its "Rewards Programs" sub-forum to be particularly helpful.

Hi Minx267, MyCoupons lists a lot of coupon bargains from popular stores on its home page with coupon codes to use when you check out. Right now I see a coupon from The Gap worth 25% off entire purchase, 10% off a shoe purchase from K Mart, and free shipping on a shoe order from Target.com., and others. Like I mentioned, I found the site's forum especially useful because you get feedback from many different sources, and quite often I've gotten an alert on deals that I might have missed otherwise. The site is at www.mycoupons.com . You can add a "/boards" on the end of the URL address to go directly to the forum.

oh, that's cool I didn't hear about that. do you have to have a minimum in order to get the money back. I think I will still use BigCrumbs because they offer the sales and the coupons for so many other online retailers as well I thought ebay was a bonus. the other sites actually offer a high cash back percentage, and usually some coupon codes to save some additional money. thanks for the response.

I've still not become a member of Big Crumbs, but I am considering it. However, there are a couple of other sites that I use that also offer cash back on ebay purchases, so I have been claiming a little bit of cash back on the few things that I buy on ebay for a while now. It is nice to be able to get some cash back when I consider the fact that I'm already getting a good deal on the things that I am buying on ebay.

I agree! I get really good deals on tons of other sites I shop at through BigCrumbs besides ebay. I have earned cash back for buying my refrigerator online through Sears.com. I get good deals and cash back through tigerdirect (this is my Favorite site) I get all my electronics through them and have since my roommate put me on to them to buy my first computer. So I was already using them anyway. Now I use them and get cash back from my purchases. Also I thought the price (deal) that I got on ink through them and the cash back on top of that was awesome. I saved over $50. All taht from a site that is free to join.. I am sold. :-) Just remember there is no time like the present.. lo. Good luck Dorann.

Hi, I was wondering if my BigCrumbs account will still credit if I change the ebay address slightly because Bigcrumbs is not taking me to the Australian ebay site even though I listed my country of residence as Australia.. So annoying because ebay.com doesn't list how much postage is to Australia.

Turns our,my ebay purchase did credit...I bought something for $19 or so and will eventually get $0.90 back. Not much, but still better than nothing. Hopefully my other ebay purchases will be processed soon as I am eager to find out how much Big Crumbs will pay me eventually...
