I don't have one, but I intend to get one next year. Can I add this to my bucket list. The list I started on your other discussion about things I wanted to do before I kick the bucket?

Something small that would eventually be part of a sleeve. Is it too ambitious to go for a dragon. I figure I'd start with a head, and then add up the body later if I like it.

Hmmm a dragon.. sounds expensive. :P Does it have any meaning behind it or is it just because you like dragons?

I have an aum symbol on my left forearm. It stands for the noise that created the universe and is also a Tibetan symbol for God or Divine. In some Tibetan religions the babies are branded with aum symbols to help increase cosmic vibrations while meditating. I also have some other tattoos I've designed myself that I haven't been able to get done yet but I look forward to getting them.

Yes I would say it does as well as an overall benefit towards life. I think that any step you take towards benefitting yourself in any way even if it's something as simple as getting a symbol tattoed on your body it cannot help.

Thats so cool and unique. I love it when people put thought into what they get and actually have meaning behind it. Does it help you meditate?

I have one Tattoo but it is a large one (it takes up my whole back) I will get more sometime but I would never tattoo my wrist or my lower arms or my neck because this could make it very hard to get a good job. I keep my tattoo covered at all times while at work. I have been in middle managment for my last few jobs and I have seen it a thousand times someone applies and we think they would work out great but the HR wont hire them because of tattoos and you cant make an exception for one person and not for another

Well usually when I go to work I cover those areas.. it's against dress code to be showing lower back and I meant the base of my neck and I don't wear anything low cut enough to show off that much of my neck/back. Wrist however will probably be a different story, I'll probably not go through with it for that reason you just specified. I'm planning on working from home and for myself when I finish school though, meaning I'll be my own boss which means I'll get to do whatever I want.

Yes, I do have a tattoo. But I only have one right now. It's on the back of my left shoulder and it's a moon and a star. I'm not sure whether I'm going to get more or not, but we'll have to see. Only time will tell.

Ooh a moon and a star. Does it have any meaning or did you just get it because you like moons and stars?

I have a skull inside a heart in my hip, I have a rose on my neck, a star on my back, and I also have a flower on my ankle. I love tattoos, and can't wait to get more, I just don't have the money right now, but hopefully soon. I also have 14 piercings.

Wow it sounds like you already have a lot! You have guts, I don't know if I will be brave enough to get more then two. My sister is already at 4, she's a daredevil though!

I don't have a tattoo. But I do like looking at other people's tattoos. They look pretty cool. I just don't think I would look very good with a tattoo. I would know I would later regret my choice of tattoo too.

That's good you have though it through before just jumping in the tattoo chair! Haha I'm pretty sure a lot of people haven't, and later spend a lot of money getting them removed. Tattooing is a life long decision and should be taken seriously, I'm glad you're being responsible about it.

I have one there as well. No it didn't hurt much except up by the wrist a bit. My other tat on my upper arm hurt where it runs under the underside.

I have 2 tattoos at the moment. I have a blue pentagram on my right shoulder blade which was my first tattoo. The I have a triquetra with vines (which I designed myself) on my lower back. I have another design picked out for my next one which will on the back of my neck. Hubby and I are also tying to come up with something small, probably a symble to represent us as we just got married. I love tattoos!

That's so awesome! It's cool you have the guts to get those done. And you designed them yourself which is really sweet. That's adorable you and your husband are getting something done together, I hope to do that someday with who ever I settle down with.

I don't have any tattoos but I don't mind getting temporary ones. I find yakuza's tattoos are awesome. It might be alot but it's really art to me. However, I won't get any real tattoos because in my culture, it is an insult to the parents to modify something on the body. And I don't know if it will make a good impression if I apply for a job application at a bank after I finish university.

I definitely understand if it's apart of you're culture, you're parents are after all what got you here! However I am grateful my culture isn't against body modification because I love them, I don't know what it is but having that piece of you art work permanently on you're skin just makes me stoked. I agree with you on the bad impression on a job interview too, that's why I'm only getting ones I can hide behind clothing if I want.

Me maybe no I won't get any. As some may think tha getting a tattoo is some what how sexy. But as medicine or in some doctor's view if one had a tato the person won't be able to give blood for those who needs them. Because like me i have a relative that sometimes need blood. As well as my grandmother who is so old that as i speak she is on a wheel chair and can't travel. People should be aware of things that is soon to happen like who knows what would happen in the future. What would you do if it happens to you that you are the nearest person available to give opr donate blood but can't due to you having a tattoo
