First Snow!!!

I hope you still feel that way after you spend time shoveling it. Seriously though I don't remember never not having snow and I still get a little bit of the kid excitement thing going on when I wake up to see the ground covered. I still love a snow day from school for the kids, that we spend making snow angels and building snowmen, followed by hot chocolate and a big fire in the fireplace. Nothing reflects christmas lights the way snow does. My favorite snow is the big flakes that just kind of float..it makes one feel like they are in a snow globe that was turned upside down. Glad you enjoyed your first snow, welcome to winter.

In my country, we haven't had a snowfall since 1999. And the time when it did snow, it only snowed for 5mins or less. I remember going to Germany, and seeing the snow there, on the ground, for my first time was a "miracle" to me as it, for me, is a rare thing. I was indeed very happy, and ended up, like a child would do, playing in the snow all day, tossing snowballs, creating a snow, lieing on the snow and flapping your arms. It was indeed a beautiful moment.

Hi, I know the feeling I experienced snow for the first time this year and it was really not what I imagined. Its nice but giving the fact that I will be experiencing for the rest of my life, I am not really enjoying it because it is not easy going around in the snow.

I do not know the feeling at all as I live in the plains.But I can gather it must be a wonderful feeling.I just wish I was somewhere I also could experience the first snowfall of the season.
