Hi Itzmee, Face your depression. Give yourself the time to feel it--cry, just sleep, eat more, don't talk to anybody, stay alone...TEMPORARILY. Pick yourself up and make start anew. Be positive enough to look at what happened to you. This may not be the right time for you and there's no right job yet for you. Be patient enough to search. Accept the fact that at this point in time it's really hard to find a job. Reflect on your interests, maybe you'll find an answer whether you start a small business, be in other venture instead of pushing yourself too much to get a job. If you can make it searching for a job and still have a sideline business or other source of income it can start boosting your morale. You can make it!

i am happy that it helped you in a way. now that you know and recognized the triggers of your depression-like being alone, please avoid being alone. when you're about to feel it, try to call a friend and do something to keep you up. make sure it will be a healthy activity so that it will not complicate things okay?!! so cheer up. YOU DESERVE TO BE HAPPY. LAUGH A LOT and your depression will get OUT!

Move around. Occupy yourself. Try to get some exercise during the day. Sunshine in the winter is very important. You may be suffering from SAD. If you go to www.webmd.com you get alot of information on depression and SAD. Also, be sure you are getting a fare amount of the B Complex. All of these are important.

Hi Itzmee. I think in your case it will help to keep looking for work, but that cannot take all of ones time. When I am depressed, it helps not to sit in shadows, but in light, and to be busy doing something useful or something that is relaxing or fun. Talking about problems with, or spending time with, friends or loved ones can also help. I've read many times that soothing music or meditation are also good for easing depression. The best of all is to resolve whatever is bothering us. Best of luck to you. Karen
