Hello everyone, i accompanied my wife earlier this morning going to her school and when i was walking back home, i noticed a guy in a nursing uniform is smoking. The temperature that time is really damn hot, i cannot really take the temperature, but i need to walk so that i can reach our home. Now back to the topic, will you still smoke even if the temperature is really hot? really, really hot. I mean, earlier it was really hot, and i even saw someone who's nose is bleeding because of the heat, and then still, there is that guy, who can manage to smoke in spite of the heat. Are you smoking? Will you do it or Can you do it? What are your points of view about this, and for smokers, what can you say about this? I do not really know, cause i am not a smoker that is why i am here asking you.

I am not a smoker too. i will be kind enough to ask people who smoke in public if they want to kill me and other people? i will also tell him to die first then we will follow. they have to sensitive enough to know what's happening around them.

Well i guess you are right about that, there people who smoke's insensitively, and sometimes it also give me the feeling of irritation, when i saw a man on a public place who smoke like there is no one around them. being a passive smoker is really dangerous. Have a nice day.

Hi rjvb I AM a smoker and the temperature has nothing to do with the cigerette at all. You don't feel the heat from the cig or do you inhale heat. It just doesn't work that way. I will happy to say that I do have a intended quit date. That will be the Jan.1st. I am ready to do and so is my husband. We know that we need to do this because of our health. We are getting older and the smoking is taking a toll on us now. Wish us luck. Have a nice day. Keep smiling.

Well that is great that you did quit. Do you have any tips for me. I know that it will be hard for me to stop like that but I do know that it is something that I have to do. I want to do this and I have my mind set that it is the end of smoking. I have given myself a day and time and hopefully it will end in success. Have a great day and keep smiling.

Hi rjvb, I am also having the same doubt and carrying the same for quite long time. Here in summer the temperature is so high and people can enjoy smoking. Don't they feel more heat by smoking? I asked the same question to some smokers but they didn't reply and just smiled on me. In winter they are making the cold climate is a reason for smoke but they don’t have any answer in summer. I too don’t have the answer for your question; I joined because I also have the same doubt. What I understand here is that people who are addicted with smoking may smoke irrespective of the climate.

O yes, many questions have come to my mind when i saw that person earlier. I really do not know the answer cause i am not a smoker, and i think finding answer in this topic will be like 10 in 2 chances, cause i am sure smokers will not even tell a straight answer for this one.

Yes, climate has nothing to do with it. It's all about addiction. But to the other poster, why would you assume a smoker is automatically a liar?? That's a very puzzling remark! Maggiepie ALL TROLLS & STALKERS GO TO FEED MY NINJA ATTACK CAT!___^..^

I am sorry you are suffering so much heat, I hope you get some relief soon.I gave up smoking around fifteen years ago and I am so glad that I did! I remember that, at the time I would smoke in the rain, hail or sun shine so I doubt that the heat would have stopped me! I recall standing outside my office smoking in the pouring rain! It is a rather filthy, addictive and expensive habit but it can be very difficult to give up. I was fortunate and I must have picked the right time to do it because it wasn’t too hard to stop. These days my wallet, my health and the environment could not afford to have me smoking again! I couldn't think of anything much worse than smoking in boiling hot weather nowadays!

I smoke, and I don't really mind going out in the heat to have one. It gets pretty hot here, 110 and up, and I can deal with it for the 3 minutes it takes to smoke. What I really don't like though, is going out in the cold to smoke. I hate that way more than smoking in the heat. Either way, if it's really hot, or really cold, I may just go smoke in my car. That's usually the best option.

That's just what I want to konw.I think smoking could harm not only the smokers' health, but also the people's who smell it.And why they still smoke. They don't care about it,don't they.

Hi rj! Not because he is a medical practitioner he can't smoke anymore, and when the temperature is really really hot. I love to smoke and it has nothing to do with the weather conditions. I used to do it that way with a cup of coffee. yan

I am not a smoker only occasionally I smoke if I feel stress & pressured I find it smoking will make my stress diminish. It help me not feeling pressured & help me not to be sleepy also when I want to meet some deadlines that needed to stay up late.

Smoking is not dependent on the surrounding temperature...it is just because of an excitment/anger/feelings/etc.which make you smoke...sincerely it because of love failures only the smoking process starts of..these girls they are devils......

in the heat or in the cold, i dont see the different when i feel like i want to smoke. sometimes people think that when they are in the cold days, it will be better for smoke, but then again smoking doesn't give you an adding for body heat.
