This morning I had a strange but very realistic dream. I dreamed that I went to an art exhibit by a friend of a loved one. At the art exhibit was a memorial to the loved one. Who had passed away but I apprently did not know about it for some reason, that part is silly because I am sure I would know almost immideiately if that happened to this person, but this memorial was so real and had personal items that showed how much he loved me along with the sculpture and even though you are not really suppossed to be able to read in dreams I read his name clearly. It was so real I woke up crying hysterically it took me about 5 minutes to get myself back together. Has anything like this every happened to you?

whoa! what a dream you had there, well for some reason no matter how weird my dreams are they don't seem to wake me up, i have always heard people wake up suddenly after seeing a scary dream, but i don't know why it doesn't happen with me .. i had a dream where i was being spontaneously stabbed in the stomach, and it was such an awkward dream i have to say but i didn't get up, i was still sleeping, i could not feel anything in the dream i mean the dying and all that, the dream just ended abruptly and then i had another dream after some blank time, i did not get up in the middle, i guess i was sleeping deep but normally i am a light sleeper, small noises can wake me up but dreams have never, i wish my dreams don't break my sleep .. well but certainly i have to say suddenly waking up from a dream we do need some time to catch up with the reality..

I have woke up laughing from a dream...those kinds of dreams are always nice because then I fall back to sleep with a smile on my face. On the other hand, I've also woke up crying. For some reason I often dream of something happening to my grandchildren. I have no idea why other than some things that are going on with their parents. I often also dream that my dad is still alive, then when I wake up, I wasn't crying, but I then start knowing how much I miss him. Marsha

I have had many over the years that have shook me to my soul. I have woken screaming out names of people who had passed in my life or I have woken crying and shaking after being chased in a dream. I can even remember waking up one night in a cold sweat, screaming to the point I was horse. I also have quite vivid dreams, when they are so strong that I can remember different things that have happened in them, I often right them down in a journal that I keep next to my bed. Through out the next few days, I will right down similarities to see if maybe I was dreaming the future, etc.

I have been talking about writing them down for years. I really should. That is how Stephanie Meyers created Twilight.

I have done that with sites before in fact I was doing it a little bit last night. I was playing a game on my computer before bed last night and when I first started dozing off I was still playing the game in my head. I have also had dreams that I was on Gather which is another site I am on a lot. It is kind of funny when our computer lives creap in to our dreams.

Wow. I have very realistic dreams too. I always remember my dreams as well. I have very strong reactions to them. Scary dreams make me mad, sad dreams make me depressed, happy dreams annoy me, and bizarre dreams amuse me.

I think bizarre ones amuse me too. I was telling my husband the other day I should keep a notebook by the bed and start writing some of these dreams down.

There is only one time that I remember this happening to me. It happened a few years back, so I don't remember what the dream was about, but I do remember that I was laughing so hard in my dream that I woke myself up from laughing out loud. I was a little disappointed after I woke up. The way I was laughing so hard in my dream I figured I'd be laughing out loud pretty good, but it turned out just to be giggling. LOL Now if only I could remember what I had been dreaming about that was so darn funny! Oh well! Happy mylotting!

Dear friend, May be during my child days, but being sad I had wake up from dreams when some of my good dreams get broken up only because I waked up. Some dreams are really enjoyable and want to see it again and again. I had also seen scary dreams. But never experienced any as you had that is really a rare one.

Yes, I have done this! I hate it when that happens. It is like the dream haunts you throughout the day. I have woken up laughing and crying. I can't remember the dreams that I had anymore. I don't mind waking up laughing so much, but waking up crying is horrible. It is especially horrible when you dream of losing someone you love.

Yeah, it happened to me many times though not every night. I would just wake up crying, or there's be dried tears on my cheeks. I'll try to think about the dream I had but I couldn't remember a thing. It's like its just there at the back of my mind. It's a weird experience, waking up crying. But it's different when I'm waking up laughing. And sometimes when it subsided, I'll fell asleep then wake up laughing again. What a nice way to start a day. I'd love to experience that again.

I once had this dream that something horrible happened to my mom and I woke up crying. It was so real and scared that I went knock my mom's door, hold her and couldn't stop crying.

I have very vivid dreams and nightmares, so I've definitely experienced this before. I once had a dream of my house burning down and my family being trapped inside, and me being the only escaping. It was terrible, I felt like I was suffocating in my sleep. Another time I dreamt my sisters head had been chopped off and she came back and sang me and my brother lullaby's with no neck, it was horrifying. I've dreamt of falling off buildings, not being able to get away from Michael Myers, and worse of all being buried alive. All of these experiences I've woken up from in tears and in a cold sweat. I'm actually considering going to a sleep clinic and figuring out what it's all about.

Hello ladym, I have very vivid and realistic dreams all the time. I have woken up from dreams both laughing and crying a few different times, there has also been times when my husband has had to wake me up out of a dream because I was screaming, whining or crying. There has been dreams where I also have thought my dreams where real and interpreted them into my real life only to have my husband tell me it must of been a dream, just things like I thought he had said to me or things I thought I said to him and it never happened. I had a dream about my husband and kids getting in a car accident off of a mountain in the same car that we had in real life and it was so real that I could see my kids real faces in the back seat and my husband had passed in the dream and I saw his "soul" rise out of the car and go to heaven and I was crying in the dream and ended up waking up crying with tears down my eyes and I had to look over to realize it was a dream because my husband was still there and I just grabbed him and thanked god it was just a dream...

i have had quite a few extremely vivid dreams where i hve woken up crying..and some where i woke up with just a very happy feeling. i honestly believe dreams are a way for us to work through our emotions when we just cant seem to when ur awake. i am going through a divorce right now which is a very emotional roller coaster.I have a few dreams lately that involved my ex and i woke up crying my eyes out more than once-but at the same time i kind of went over the dream in my mine(once i calmed down) and i was able to learn something from that dream that is helping me to move on in a more positive way... Dreams can be very powerful and sometimes freaky but i think they are very important to us

Yes it has happend to me, many times infact. I also laugh when I'm asleep, but I wouldn't know it. Anyways, I had dreamt about losing my father and random people showed up and started laughing at me. I went running to a building where I was secluded but then, in front of me I saw the corpse of my father and his will appeared in my hand. I woke up and burst in tears, my parents came into my room and started asking me what was the problem. As soon as I saw my father, I was very relieved and soon stopped crying. However, not to make my father feel bad, I never told him what I actually dreamt. Pretty sad, for me evne though it was not real.

hi i can see how much do you care about hime. from your dream, there is indication that he love you more than you love him. so he get angry and come to you dream and make a sense of being cared. i have this kind of dream as same as you. once i dream of my first boy friend. and i met him in the dream like our first time . he look so tender and attractive and so close.so when i get up i guess how much he hate me now. because i used to hurt him.
