Would you give free gifts as Xmas presents?

Now that the Xmas is just around the corner, buying Xmas presents takes a big chunk of the family budget. One would try to minimise the expenses not exceed the budget. Would you give free gifts which you received from sponsors, contests, donations as Xmas presents to friends or family members? Or perhaps redeem free voucher for these presents?

I would and I have. If it is something of quality and I knew the receiver would love it. I bought my son a game that came with a 20.00 gift card to the store, I am giving the gift card to my nephew. I bought a coat and got a scarf and hat set in a color my neighbor loves, she was thrilled to find them included in her goody basket. I really don't think price is the issue with gifts if you give from the heart and your gift shows how much you know the other person. If you are truly giving something the other person loves or yearns for, it doesn't matter where it came from or how much it costs, when it refects your heart.
