You are quite right. I don't really care how the politicians' speeches. I just know I will do what I can do to protect our planet. I can't control others, but at least I can do it from myself. Long time ago I already wrote down "Love our earth and don't waste!" in my homepage. I hope people will realize how important it is to do something to protect our earth. I love China

Yes, sharing with you! I think we all should do our part. Some more than others if they are able to. I am apolled that some legistlators don't even believe in what is happening to our planet and poo-poo it all. Ofcourse they get a raise ever year and they don't have to worry about such things. They are in lah lah land. We are the ones that have to explain it all to our kids.

The auto makers here in the US have a deadline to have their facilities switched over to manufacture more fuel efficient cars and trucks, the type that will reduce emissions. They've also been encouraged to develop alternative fuels that would produce no emissions. We each have to do our part to get our earth back on track and preserve it resources...governments, businesses, and individuals. Everyone can do something to help heal and preserve our earth :) Karen

In my country Philippines. People and many organizations are planting lots of tress. And teaching people how to recycle some materials. Segregation of waste biodegradable and non biodegradable materials. Plant trees now. And plant vegetable gardening for our emergency needs.

Its just a matter of who's going to make the first bold step to it. It doesn't matter if its the develop countries or the third world countries who initiated the change. But sooner or later, all of us should do its share to protect mother earth. Its not for us really as we cannot see its effect several years from now, but for our grandchildren and succeeding generations. I would not want my descendants to live in a world that is full of pollution or a world that has no trees.
