I don't drink. I remembered drinking once, XO, when I say drinking, I meant a lot. Drinking a little, a glass or 2, I do on occasions but getting drunk, I had once. I knew I was speaking louder than usual and not very in control of my hands or legs, speech sounded a little slurred but I knew what I want to say or what I do, then I slept. The next day was horrid, a very bad headache. Why do you want to drink till that stage?

Ho ho ho ho ho, to know to that detail, you're an expert drinker but I guess to become an expert in drinking cannot be done by reading or studying, it is done at the expense of your health, what a high price to pay for the lesson. Is it worth it or do you have regrets?

Do you post for the sake of posting or do you really read my post? If you want to know the answers to your own question. Read the my whole thread. Maybe you know what is the essence of this post. Thank you and have a good day.

ha!ha!ha!. No I'm not. I'm just a direct to the point type of person. Nothing more nothing less. I rather like my personality this way than to have a personality who is so nice outside but them inside they have a monster to hide.. Me,,What you see is what you get. .... And I think we has a miss communication. In my head at that time, because of the length of the thread and replying to each of one of you is hard. And when I see some same question comments and try to give answer again then later same comments, same question and I answer it again. Its okay if theirs a copy and paste..But typing and proof reading it again takes time. .... So in my mind at that time rather than answering your question I just want you to read the whole thread because the answers are already their. .... I'm not offended by your question. Its a healthy one and no harm done to me. I'm more " I already answer that question so can you please just read the upper post rather than I answer it again." That what runs into my head at that time. ... Yeah.. I guess I'm little harsh.. Sorry.. ... Really no offense taken. have a nice day.

Hello black sheep, baa baa (hic). I never drank in my life until i went to work in one of the Gulf countries in 1983.There i got into the habit of drinking since all my fellow colleagues used to drink during weekends and we would have mad parties with music and dancing throughout the nights on certain weekends. I lived there for 4 years and became an expert in drinking and could consume 5 pegs of whiskey or rum without getting drunk. However after my contract expired and i came back home all this came to an abrupt end and i once again became a good boy...er.. a complete teetotaler. Now if you offer me a drink, i will either snub you and if you persist ,i will take the glass from you hands and throw the contents in your face...hic!!

Lolz..So you stop drinking ha?. It nice that you did. Chance of environment really is a big factor if you want to stop drinking. Like me I stop seeing my drinking buddies and that how I definitely walk away from bad habits. .... But what if you have a new contract and return to middle East? I give you three weeks maximum.. If you can still get out clean then I salute you..lolz

Well, there`s no chance of my returning to the Gulf because i am now physically handicapped and in a wheelchair for the rest of my life.Secondly i am too old and also retired and thirdly i had ruined my health because of drinking and thats another reason i stopped drinking completely. So why 3 weeks, if hypothetically i do go there again i will never drink, at least for my healths sake otherwise i will book a ticket to heaven before my time comes.lol.

I started drinking about ten years ago.But I drink a little. If I drink more I will be drunk and sleepy.I think it's dangerous.I've fallen asleep on the roadside floor. That was too bad.So I don't want to be drunk any more.

hi,bulastika,i think it is benefit of knowing the harm of drinking.People would drink in a party, talk with customers and so on...but you know everything has two "black and white",they should have the lowest line.Drinking may good for our health, but it's also harmful if too much.

After joining Engineering ..I started regularly and still its my part of life . I have never thought of leaving it ...and small drinks I really enjoy ... But what ever you said in last thats the situation for me also in my family ... Thanks ... :)

The first time that I ever got legitmately drunk was when I was like fourteen or something like that. I used to drink quite a bit in high school but I started to grow out of it towards the end of my high school years because I grew accustomed to it and it no longer thrilled me. I rarely even casually drink anymore because I just don't find it to make you feel real euphoria.

I started drinking when I was in standard XII in school. But to this day it has always been measured and I have never gone overboard with it. I like drinking no doubt, but not too much.I hate to lose control and I stop when I begin to feel good. That is it and no more.It has never been an addiction for me, just a source of pleasure.

lol,, I'm not a quiet black sheep, I'm a loud black sheep..MMAAAAHHHH...lolz.. I run away thrice when I was a teenager...lolz.. Yeah..I think because of my pride..lolz.. Sometime theirs a thing in life that if you want to prove something do it. It take me 10 years to graduate, But I did graduate..Do yo know what I mean? In my drinking buddies only two of us graduates the rest...There good people who only problem is they like to drink..And if you take that away from them they will realize how wasted their life is..So they really can't stop drinking..cause that the only vise they have.

I have in m existence of 55 years witnessed people adults with families falling a prey to this deadly habit. Is there anything more pathetic than to see a friend all of 48 years just walk out of his family consisting of a wife and two children a son and a daughter both college-going.Needless to say I have not heard about the return to his family. The children have shaped themselves into very strong individuals.Below an adversity you see the human spirit emerging triumphant.

hey bulastika,i guess it'll be fun to drink together. After a long time have got someone who openly admits and advocates for drinking. You see in my country its seen as an evil, but who said that I am not a devil. Well I dont remember when was the first time I drank,i think in class 12.But then it used to be very rarely. And we used to drink so that we can act as drunks.Drinking in those days was more because it was a sign of growing up.But once i got into college things changed.Drinking very frequently, and thats normal in an engineering college. But should like to say one last thing about boozing.I have never boozed alone.I always need company to get drunk. Boozers are never loosers Happy Boozing

hahaha! If talking about college drinking.. We always go to school drunk..lolz.. And because we were seated at the back we always raise our hand and answers all our teachers question..Our teacher then make a comment. You must follow those three they came late but they are very attentive. Are they only my student here? The rest of the class laugh..Cause they all know that we are drunk..lolz.. Also we drink from monday to friday. So we seldom go home to take a bath or chance dress. But because were wearing a uniform its hard to know if we change or not. So what we did we only take a bath in a school. One time one of our teacher found out about our escapade and tease as. " I have a soap, I have a shampoo, I have a tooth brush.." lolz..Cause that what we bring in school instead of books..lolz

I started drinking during my senior year in high school, when I was 16 years old. Up until now, I still drink occasionally. It's my favorite activity to bond with old and new friends.
