Last night during the previously discussed shut out Jackman ROCKED Cleary with a mid ice hit. Cleary was assisted off and I prayed he was doubled over trying to catch his breath. I just heard on the news that Cleary seperated his shoulder and will be gone at least 4 weeks. Need I say more?
Quick update about tomorrow..I was wrong. we don't play Nashville..we play the Ducks..that should take care of what's left of our healthy veterans.
I am once again..beyond sad..I need a couple of those little yellow guys you always use bounce..can you make them very sad ones..

Unfortunately, that's the nature of the beast. It what makes the game so exciting. I have not seen the hit. Was it a good hit? Did Jackman leave the ice with the hit?
Uggh! Ducks tomorrow? You're right, more bruises. Well I hope your guys get the win. Even though Anahiem are last in the west, the canucks are just 4 points ahead of them.@jewels49 (1776)

It was hard, but Jackman hit him fair, I don't think Cleary saw him coming and that is on him. It looked bad, but not really shoulder seperating bad. It was obvious Cleary was shook up but it looked more like he had the wind knocked out of him..and maybe that was just wanted I wanted to see.
Wanna wager a guess as to how many penalty minutes will be served tomorrow night? The worse the ducks are doing, the nastier they play.

And the Canucks win!!! Congrats!! I watched some of the 3rd. They really had Atlanta skating and their goalie was flopping around like a fish out of water! I'm watching the Kings play the Coyotes. They are tied with 10 min. left in the 3rd.
Its 12:30 here and I am trying to stay awake to watch the end of this game. This west coast hockey is killing me!! Put I love it!!

I saw that hit last night. Looked nasty but I sure didn't think that he separated his shoulder. UGH!!! You know he is in some serious pain. I remember when Doug Weight separated his shoulder during the Stanley Cup Finals. The boys had to help him hoist the cup. I'm so sorry. I know what it is like for your team to have so many injuries. What we have to wish for is a WIN against the Ducks!!!

I remember that about Weight too, he played that game with a seperated shoulder. I likes him before but have had tremendous respect for him since. He's another tough hard and clean player.
It is going to be an ugly game..worse than nashville..Ducks head hunt wings and they play dirty. I just hope we end the game with the same number of guys we go in with.
