Bertuzzi ..in OT..on top of the one he scored to tie it up!! Homer broke the drought with the first one. Ducks kept themselves in the box pretty steady. Rafalski took a puck to the face but did come back and play and Brett Lebda got knocked aaround some too..couple of fights and alot of jaw jacking. Your typical ducks/wings game. People always makes jokes about the NHL hating the wings and conspiracy rumors always surface..We know they are rumors and yet when the schedules are made it will make your eyebrows go up a little. We play Nashville tomorrow night. The Ducks tonight. Seems alot to ask of a bunch old hockey players. On another note have you noticed the sticks breaking lately? Datsuk broke one in the face off, got handed a new one and broke that with the first swing. Thats 7 sticks I think in the last two weeks between 2 players..I know the wood ones are heavier than alot of the players like..but maybe if they went back to them it would send a message to the guys they are buying these 300.00 sticks from?

Thanks for this post. I tried to see th Wings score as I watched The caps game but I couldn't. Who is the man in Bertuzzi's sweater? And where is the Real Bertuzzi? If he keeps this up, I will have to change my mind about him! I have noticed that there are many sticks breaking. Can they ever go back to wood ? I am not sure. Oh well!

Your welcome. It is Bertuzzi in number 44 sweater..He is clean shaven alot more than he ever used to be. Maybe he really is trying to change his image from the inside out. He keeps playing llike he has been, and a whole lot of people are going to have to change the way they think about him. He has really come up big lately. I guess there aren't too many places that even make wooden sticks anymore, and the younger players don't like the weight of the wooden ones, they prefer the composites. I would get upset if I was paying that much for something that important and it kept breaking. You should have seen the look on the little kids face that Pav handed the broken stick too as he left the ice. He looked like he'd been handed a brand new one. It was very cool.

Are you kidding? I would have fainted if I was given one of Shanny's sticks. Any true fan would!

Bertuzzi broke a stick tonight and the guys said that they had checked out yet another hockey stat..Of the guys that use composite sticks they average 25 dozen sticks per guy per season..at a cost of 250.00 to 375.00 a stick..I hadto agree with Murphy when he said it was time to grow a composite tree in the back yard!

Sorry, I was away for a couple of days. I know that the wings had a game tonight and Big Bert was also the hero. But this post is about the Anaheim game right! Yep Bertuzzi. Showing signs of that old West Coast Offense that he and Mo and Nasi used to display in a Canucks jersey. That's a good directin for him, just continue playing hard. The reputation will never go away, but at least it's always a posititve note when the highlights talk about him.

The way he is playing is taking him further and further away from that moment he became that guy..didn't he have almost 50 goals when he belonged to the canucks? He seems different, not just in the way he is playing but different all the way around.
