How many times a day do you eat?

Hey fellow mylotters. This question is a relatively simple one which I'm interested to hear what you say. I eat around 3 times a day. I eat something small for breakfast such as a cereal bar, then for lunch I would either eat bread or salad or meat and then for dinner I would eat a chicken only plate followed by desert. If it counts, I also take a snack between lunch and dinner. As for my physical status, I am a tiny bit over weight and am trying really hard to get rid of my extra fat. So my question for you is: How many times a day do you eat? and Do you think it shows in their physical appearence?

Twice a day.When I was a student,I always got up very late,breakfast always was concealed,or when I needed to go to class,I would go to classroom directly.And now,I try to get up earlier and have breakfast to make my body fit,but often,coz of busy job,my lunch goes away.People say we cost our body to earn money when we are young,while we will cost more money to save our body when we are old.So I advise all myloters to eat in time and enjoy our meals,which is really important,for people also say that our body is the base of work.Build our body is so important as our career.

Hmm, very interesting. It's a good thing that you take a health breakfast as much as you can which shows the dedication for self-fitness that you are making towards yourself. Enjoying meals is indeed a good thing, but for example, if you enjoy eating a chocolate cake and end up eating excess of it then you will start gaining weight.

I could eat many times for a day. Depend where I'm. But usually I eat three times per day. The most important meal in our daily life is breakfast. Usually I'll have some cereal drink or nutrition milk for my breakfast with some biscuit or bread. Sometimes I'll cook half boiled egg and sausages as my breakfast. Also, I'll make some oat and cereal food as my breakfast. Then come to lunch I'll prefer some rice with vegetables, egg and some meat. I'll have fast food sometime when I want to eat. Night time I'll eat some normal dishes with rice. Then I would have some fruit after meal. If I sleep late at particular night, I'll make some hot drink with few pieces of biscuit as my supper.

I eat about 2 times a day. Depending on the day and the meals.. Sometimes if I eat a lot in one meal I might not eat another meal again til the next dayl although I might have a small snack.

how many times you eat is not a problem.it depends on the type of food that you intake and the calories needed for the day and it is advisable to take low caloried food for 4 to 5 times a day. thats good for health

I usually eat a meal of rice and chicken while at work 3rd shift and it fills me up pretty well so that I am just not hungry for many hours to come. I am not sure of the amount of calories. and then I try to eat something not quite so heavy a few hours before I go to sleep in the afternoon.. and it starts all over the next day.. lol

It depends on the situation like today its rainy season here in the Philippines, more of the Filipino's are increasing their daily meals ranging from five to six times a day, but if the snacks are included maybe it takes more than seven meals, rainy season makes us starving, lol.

I eat breakfast, dinner, tea and supper and snack whenever i am hungry. I don't know whether this is a lot or just average but anyways, i tend not to put weight on no matter how much i eat. I do lots of exercise which no doubt contributes but even when stop being active for long periods i stay the same weight :)

ohh. same with me. I do lots of exercise too. i do this just to remove extra calories. i think im big as bigshow when i do not do some exercises. :))

Normally, each person need to each three time a day , but usually I need to each something after the normal three meals. yes, i really can eat so many foods more than most of the girls. but dont consider I am fat, I just hv 45KGS. :)

Normally I eat four times a day i.e As breakfast tean and few slice of bread the meal of little rice with vegetable and other food items then lunch either noodles or bread or fruits then at last dinner. But i'm really lovbe spicy food so besides i sometimes take some spicy and chilly foods. I know i'm also a bit over weight because of my eating habit So, i'm also trying to maintain my weight. But it will take time for me. Obiously the fooding habit shows direct efftc on our physical apprearance.

Hi, I eat three times a day. I go with the regular breakfast, lunch , dinner set up. I consume more food during breakfast and my servings would be lesser for lunch and much lesser during dinner time.One's metabolism and physical activity are big contributing factors for the outcome on physical appearance. One may eat a lot yet got to exercise a lot so there is balance in the system so being fit is present physically.

Hello borg Most of the time i like to eat three time in a day but on few days i eats four time s a day only than when i like to eat but it happens rare in my life.The said is totally like i like to eat four time a day daily .

Hi, me too... I also eat 3 times a day. I think most people do. If a person has stomach problem or cut part of his/her stomach, then the doctor would suggest eat more often, but eat very little in one time, not to give any burden to the stomach or digestion system. I don't eat much, but i am also gaining weight, because I don't do exercise. So, if you want to lose weight, then necessary to focus on 2 points: control the eating, and do more and more exercise. It is not easy to be consistent, so it would be great if you can find anyone who can do things together with you.

hi borg, i dont eat usually in the morning,coffee is enough for me in the morning, my morning will not be completed without sipping my favorite brand of coffe, and by luch i eat but it depends on my appetite,same as dinner. I usually eat too much, but whe i gained weight and my friends told me that im getting bigger, i started to worry, and with that i started to diet. i dont eat in the morning, i eat i spoonfull in the afternoon, no snacks, i eat another spoonfull of meal on dinner, though its hard in the beginning but eventually i get used to it, and now, i love my figure now and continue to manage my figure but i dont eat a spoonfull every meals anymore, i eat more than that,ahahha.

Hello to you dear borg246. You got my attention we are opposite, but then i respond to your post just to tell everyone that it depends on the lifestyle. Probably on my side i really ate a lot but i don't get bigger. I prefer to eat rice with a dish rather than eating a bread with milk or coffee. In some surveys it is stated that eating every breakfast is important comparing to lunch and dinner. Because in the morning the human's digestion is performing faster than the usual. And eating at night must have a lower consumptions for an easy passage of food.

I take 2 main meals - lunch and dinner. Breakfast is usually a cup of hot black coffee on working days; if I wake up early enough on weekends, then I would have a big breakfast. However after dinner on weekdays, and throughout the day on weekends, I snack on ice-cream, chocolates, crisps and chips!

I usually eat three times a day, the usual breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sometimes, usually when I have an afternoon class, I'll split lunch between two snacks. One at 11:00 and one after I get home at 3:00pm. I don't really like having to split lunch. I'd prefer to eat the regular three meals a day. I'm not overweight at all. I don't think I'm underweight either, although I am really skinny.

If I am moving around all day trying to get things done here lately I have not eaten much because lack of money when I am out driving all my money seems to go in gas and if I have enough left I might stop and get a 79cent burrito or something but if I am home I seem to eat a lot! Just not breakfast usually.

I eat 3 meals a day some may not be very big like breakfast I might eat instant oatmeal or a piece of toast then for lunch maybe a little bit of leftover from the night before and then meat, veg and potatoes for dinner. I do have a snack once in awhile at night but not all the time.

I eat 4 times a day. But I eat less. Take little food every time. I dont like to dump everything into stomach and feel heavy. So eat frequently but reduce the quantity I eat.
