What is your opinion of money?

Out of curiousity, what is your opinion of money? I've only heard a few opinions. Many people think that money is evil and others think that money is both good and bad. I want to hear what you guys think. What do you think of money? Do you think that it really is the 'root of all evil'? Or do you have another opinion of it? Why?

hello ishme...
i think money is good if used properly. all of us needs money to buy the things that we need...food, clothes shelter...basic needs to survive... and also we can use money to help our loved ones and other people in need...
money is nothing but an instrument, a thing. what makes it bad are the people who wants more and more money, people who are greedy that are capable and willing to do anything just to get more money...people who don't care about the others as long as they have the money...
sometimes, having so much money, can make a very big difference in a person, some people become proud when they already have lots of money, they even forget about their loved ones...sometimes
oh what a great changes money can brings... money is just a thing but its so powerful! huh!
for me, i don't need much much money, as long as i as able to buy my basic needs, pay our bills and was able to help my family, that will be enough for me...
there's still so many things in this world that money can't buy...money is not the everything in our life...

I completely agree with your point of view. Just as you said, I also strongly believe that it's how the money is being used and that it's not the actual money that is supposedly so evil or so good. I also believe that money can change a person in many different levels. I think we are very alike in our opinions about money ^-^ Thank you for your response =]

for me money can buy happiness. why? read this okay.
Money can buy you shoes you want, that it makes you happy.
Money can buy you food that you are craving,and it makes you happy and gives satisfaction.
Money can buy you clothes,signature clothes, and it makes you proud and happy for having it.
Money can buy you tickets to concert and movies that you wanted to much and it makes you happy.
Money can buy you tickets to go to some place you wanted to visit and it makes you happy.
Money can buy you gifts for your loveones, that makes you really happy.
Money can buy food for everyone, and everyone is happy.
Money can help others, and it makes you feel happy that you have helped other people.
Money can pay your internet bills to access to mylot,and it makes you happy.
Money can buy you house, it makes you happy.
Money can buy you ring for your fiance that makes her happy
what else money cant buy?ahahhhaah

I agree with you. I, in truth, use to believe that money was the root of all evil until I realized that money is such a necessity that God has given us, why would He give it to us if it was so evil? Maybe money in itself can not make you happy, but it sure gives you the options to whatever it is that can make you happy. In my opinion, it's not the money that is evil, but it's how the person uses the money. You can use money to do both good and bad things. Thank you for your response =D

To me money is a means to an end...I go to work to get paid and with my wages I buy stuff I want...Since I have this attitude towards money,I keep getting sucked into the "it's pretend money" trap when I buy things online.
Since I don't have to hand over any cold hard cash,I keep thinking it's pretend money...

I understand what you mean about the "pretend money". I've definitely felt that way before whenever I purchase things online. I never really realize how much it truly is, until I actually have to pay for it when the bill comes. Thank you for your opinion and response =]
