24 hours a day is just not enough!

December 13, 2009 9:22am CST
Seriously they ought to increase the day length to a 100 hours a day! time is going so fast and I have so much to do and so little time to do it. I mean right now I have to juggle running my web design business, (I have to design six websites in the next few days) running my affiliate marketing empire online, volunteering with the homeless unit for this Christmas, baking cooking and making all the Christmas goodies, babysitting my twin nieces and nephew and now I've just scored a deal on eBay as a regular supplier of antiques and collectibles and I'm also running my two online stores on yahoo and triple clicks. I've had to sell my hair salon business as I can't cope anymore! Do you ever feel that time is not on your side? Like everything just gets dumped on you at the same time?

i think the same thing, 24 hors in a day are not enought, i've a lot of things to do and if i sleep for 8 hours i can't do everything i've to do in the other hours. I've too much to do and everything accumulate every day so it's difficult to reach some results. i've a lot of free time but i can't to everything i want beacause i don't have enough time.

Well, we just too busy, and we haven't noticed that yet. We want to do everything we can within one day, nonetheless, we don't have sufficient time for everything though. So, we just have to allot our time between dates and months. We have plan ahead and schedule the time effectively.

i know what you mean. i have so much to do every single day that i do not know where to start sometimes. i turn around and the day is half over and i still have tons and tons to do and my energy level starts to lessen as the day wears on.

Yes I have thought that for many years. One hundred hours though is a bit much I was going for 32 hours. Another 8 hours broke up like this: 8 hours to sleep, 10 hours to work, 8 hours to have fun, 6 hours to take care of business, such as food shopping, banking, laundry etc...! This would suit me just find.

well i think 24 hours is ok because if there will be 100 days a day then we will extend our works also and still you in some way managing so many works in 24 hours but yeah not easily although, human nature is always little confusion, human always want to take some rest and when find some time for rest,he also make it working some hobbies or something else which can earn money for them.so its better to stick with 24 hours because we still have to give rest to our body and yeah you can told your website client that you considered one day as 100 hours in it so when you tell 2 or 4 days so calculate according to them ;)

So many girls to spank, so little time. Sigh. What happened to Mistress Monty's House of Pain? Did that join the list of too many things to do at once? Lash

Hello Jellymonty I think you are making the phrase 'Time is money' very true by looking at the number of jobs you are involved in a day. You must be a superwoman. I too accept the fact that 24 hours are not enough in a day in today's fact paced world even if someone is cutting down the sleep from 8 hours to 5 or 6 hours a day but even then there would be so much to do that it might go pending for that day and then the next day will start. Next morning, Bang! you got new things on your table plus your pending work for yesterday. Wish everyone has a time machine to control it. Alas! Time and tide waits for no one. Got to sort out things in the alloted 24 hours.

When I was in my previous job I would think the same. Too many hours at the office, and when I went back home I wanted to study, but also to relax, to read, to watch movies, to chat, to update my blog... I really wanted days to be at least 50 hours long so I could get enough sleep too! Now I`m less busy and I feel 24 hours as enough

Friend, you say well!In modern society,fast-paced life will not let you have too much time to slow down, especially for a number of office workers in the morning than roosters still early in the evening than in rats also slept late, feeling 24 hours a day is still far from enough.Every day,"Hurry up,again and again too late",whether it is in the early morning's breakfast table or a midday lunch table such as urging the sound will always be in the ear back and forth in reponse. Why is a day not 48 hours? Why did God create a week insead of 14 days? Hey! Fast-paced life,it soon so that we could not even catch a breather,no chance of!

I just wish I could nap as much as I want and still have the day not end, then, I'd get my thoughts together, have some fun and when I get tired of fun, get down to the important priorities and tasks. Also, I am very sorry you had to lose your business to the gears of life.

Hi Jelly! I am wondering and still blinking my eyes after reading your post that are you handling all the jobs alone. If the answer is in affirmative, I would say even 100 hours in a day would be less for you. Time is surely at premium with you and do you get time to relax or always running around to meet the targets. Hopefully, you will come out with flying colors in whatever you attempt or execute. I also sometimes feel that days are too short to accommodate each of our tasks and days should be extended so that we could have enough time to perform our desired tasks. All the best to you.

I wake up every morning at 06:00 and I study for an hour. From 07:45 to 18:30 I work in my busy office, and then I come back home to study again. How can you do all these activities in 24 hours???
