NHL Winter Classic at Fenway. Like it?

To the hockey lovers out there. What's you're opinion of the new year winter classic? Do you like to see your team play the puck in these open air venues? Sometimes in snowing conditions.
I personally love it! Brings back memories of kids playing in open ponds. Last year's classic was great even if the visibility was a bit compromised because of the snow.
I also like it being a tradition. Having the game every new year's day!
I just wanted your opinions about it. Let me know...

I wanted to go so badly last year when the Wings were playing. I love it and I hope it becomes yet another great hockey tradition. My husband did manage to get a winter classic hat that was gorgeous.
It was easy to see how much the players liked it, they were all grinning like kids the whole game.

I love it too and the kids love watching it. I really think the players enjoy it. They all look like little kids out there!! :)

Oh! That's one of the thing I wanted to say when I started the discussion. The NHL players look just like kids playing in the snow and on the ice.
My son played on the snow today with some neighbor's kids. He was out there for more than 4 hours. He didn't want to come back home, even after I called him. I guess, that's a similar feeling having the winter classic.
