I don't know how broken yet but it did not look good when Ericson left the game after going knee on knee with a coyote. We had to bring yet another griffin up from Grand Rapids..the kid scored his first big boy goal 5 minutes into the game. They battled hard to end up winning 3-2.

Costly win huh?! It seems like it never stops for Detroit. The injury parade. (Glad that it has seem to stop for the canucks) At least you have secondary scoring. When top lines cancel each other out, these unexpected goals make the difference. That's something the 'nucks still have to figure out. 3 in a row for us too. 5 more in this 8-game home stand.

Congrats on the win Bounce. Boo for me. My boys took a rest last night. Skated like they had lead in their skates. Oh well, now we play Edmonton tonight I think. They better step it up. Their coach looked pissed!

I couldn't believe it when Ericson went down like he did! We were 4 lines deep there for awhile and now we have 7 major players down. If we keep raiding the Griffins for players, they are going to have to bring in some of the guys the wings have in college jersies. Glad the injuries have seemed to stop plaguing yor guys. I wouldn't wish what is happening with the wings on anybody..Maybe the Ducks.

Is this a hockey team or General hospital?!It is like all of the wings luck is bad this year.Just when i think they can get better and make the playoffs And win , someone gets hurt! I'm sorry. I'm venting.

Don't apologize. I have been venting since Franzen. After Ericson went down last night..Larry Murphy, who stands between the benches said Babcock started telling the guys to put it out of their minds and concentrate, Larry said you could tell how much the bench was affected by yet another injury. It's like we take one step forward and 3 steps back!

I watched the game. Detroit fought hard, especially after the hit on Ericson. My heart sunk when I saw that. I knew you were saying to yourself, here we go again. Maybe it was just a stinger and he will be back up again today skating. Good win for the boys in RED!!!! So interesting watching Wings coverage of the game. Detroit has some really nice offers for fans. I wish we had that down here. Our owner is cheap when it comes to giveaways and promotions. Even after the year we won the cup. We thought he would share a little of the wealth but, he didn't. Typical!!

That is exactly what I was saying..out loud. Hopefully it is just a thigh bruise, but that kid went down hard. Wings organization is a very generous one with fans and with the community. Last week to boost donations to the red cross Mike Babcock, Ken Holland and the players spent time as bell ringers at the donation kettles. Of course it got turned in to a competition..Babcock and Holland won. If you were to go into the locker room or Babcock's office before a game, you will always find several kids from the childrens hospital..and they don't publicize it. a couple of games back to celebrate the anniversary of the zamboni, all the kids at the game got miniature ones that were absolutely adorable. Wings are good guys..on and off the ice.
