Sheamus put Cena through a table

How do you feel this will change the landscape of WWE? Do you think Sheamus will have the title for a long time or is he, what they call in the business, a "transition" champion. I like that someone else has the title whose name isn't John Cena or Randy Orton. Now that we have a new champion, how about a new belt?

It's still very shocking that shemus beat cena to gain the wwe title last week at tables ladders and chairs match. I never thought he would win thought cena would win and the feud would be over and Cena would move on to someone else. But I still think its to early for shemus to become champion give him some big fuds first then give him the belt.

It was an absolute shocker to me when I saw John Cena was thrown on the same table that he had setup for superplexing Sheamus over it. I thought that since Sheamus has been the one who is igniting anger in John Cena, Cena would be more furious and throw his anger all on the new superstar for disrespecting him but instead the title changed hands in a shocking turn of events. But now that Cena has lost his title, I want to see an Orton vs Sheamus match at the Royal Rumble since it would be interesting to see how he would take on the new generation celtic warrior Sheamus since on the same night orton pinned Kofi Kingston in a thrilling match with a great presence of mind avoiding Kofi's second move of Trouble in Paradise!!

Its certainly a great boost to Sheamus, but I cant see him having it for long. I do hope that Cena doesnt get it for a while, he has had it enough for now, and needs to focus on other things, he is stale after all. They could bring Undertaker in for something, and have him feud with Cena....thats cert a Money Earner...also, I hope Taker keeps the title, until after WM 26.

I doubt he will keep it long but he will still in the top echelon of wrestlers. The whole thing about the WWE is the ticket sales and keeping the fans happy or shocked, the older wrestlers are a sure thing for filling stadiums and selling PPV shows. If Shamus proves to be a top ticket seller then he will remain the champ. It's all about keeping it fresh and keeping the viewers guessing and the longer the WWE stays in existence the harder it becomes and that is one of the reasons why some of the storylines get so tired and played out because they have to squeeze everything out of them before they move on. Having said that that is a good reason to keep Shamus the champ as long as possible.

It will take me sometime to get used to, but I feel they are getting ready for the younger generation to take over and the new guys coming in. I have watched it forever and its hard for me to get used to these new boys in town, but I am sure I will get used to it....just not Sheamus---maybe Drew McIntrye or Eric Escobar. (looks wise) They will keep the belts the same for they are the "championship belts"

Sheamus is something new, so that's a welcome change. Whether or not he'll stick is something that only time will tell. If nothing else, Vince McMahon seems to change is mind about direction more times than he changes his pants, so we're just going to have to wait and see. Maybe this will be the beginning of a new era or a brief intermission before the return to the Cena/Orton/HHH/HBK cycling challengers, lather, rinse, and repeat until the time fans are bored out of there minds by seeing the same old, same old. Of course, I fear that he's going to likely lose the belt back to John Cena at the Royal Rumble or before, but I hope not.
