Do you always recieve gifts on Xmass?

Hi Myloters, Xmass I think is the day everyone looks forward every year. Aside from the fact that its often the time we get reunited with our love ones and relatives its also times for giving and receiving. I often more give than receive but we should never expect a person we give something to give us something back. Bus I do still get some xmass present and its really great when you receive thus things because even if its not expensive it make me feel happy just knowing somebody think and care for me. Evey time I get gifts though I always make sure I gave back in return. How about you do you receive a lot of gifts every xmass? Do you give gifts too to people you care? How does it feel when you give xmass present and how does it feel when you receive one? Thanks Myloters and Happy Xmass to all. Happy Myloting

Hi incredible, actually not all people receive present on xmass. Actually I only start receiving present when I was 20 but before that I never get any present on xmass because we cant afford it and even now I know some people who doesn't get xmass present as well. What we do sometimes since its us who can afford to buy things now we give some present to some people we know of who doesn't get much that kind of stuff and after the day when you see the smile on there face its worth every cents you spend.

I don't because I live in a country that X-mas is not regarded as our traditional holiday, China. Though now we do celebrate it, X-mas is more like a shopping season for most of us. big sales are everywhere, it maximized people's purchase desire including me. I buy gift for myself, sometimes my family. of course my parents don't spend exotic festivals. for them, everyday is just the same as any ordinary day in the calendar.

Hi I used to receive presents till my gransmother was alive as she felt that the traditions should be kept. Soon after,we all split as we all grew up and went our own ways. Now that I have a family I am still keeping these traditions

Hi Ruchimon, that's great actually that even if in your own family you still keep that tradition. Many family once the kids grown up the tradition get lost and its really sad because every time you remember thus happy times on times like this you want to experience it again one more time. Probably when I have my own family too I might do that tradition of our family again on Xmass. Its very simple what we do in Xmass but the most important thing is we use to be all together but that last happen about 16 years ago. Anyway, hope you enjoy your xmass and happy myloting

It has been a tradition in my family that we give presents during X-mas day especially to children and very old ones. It gives me a feeling of love whenever I give a Xmas present to somebody. and whenever I do it, I put efforts to that gift. I'm not just buying anything just for the sake of having to give something. It has to be personal and I made sure that the recepient has the need for it or will appreciate it. If I'm the one receiving a gift, It gives me that childhood feeling, always excited to see what is inside and the joy of having been remembered on that particular special occasion.:-)

Hi eve301345, I've always received gifts on Christmas', from my family and friends. I feel guilty if I don't know if someone is buying me a present and than I don't have any money to buy them a present. The only thing I hate about Christmas' is the gimmie, gimmie part and nobody seems to celebrate or really understand the true meaning of the holiday season. It makes me feel very good when friends or family give me a present, it's the thought that counts and it's nice that someone thought of me. I love Christmas' for the movies, food, and spending time with friends and family, sure it's nice to receive something but I don't expect it, I'm just happy to have made it through another year and hopefully had fun while doing so.

Hi Sahsports, yeah I am with you with spending time with friends and family. Its really great because xmass often brought us all together, will not all but the majority of the family. Though sometimes there are fighting but its fun. We actually go out the other night with friends for dinner and we didnt know that they organize that dinner as xmass party for our group of friends here and we arrive there and we didn't even have gift to gave theme back. Lucky were not the only one who didnt carry gift. Now the mission is to get some gift when we go back to Philippines. It will be late xmass gift but I think still better than nothing.

O yes, and not only on Christmas days but also everyday, i receive the gift of love my family is giving me always. I receive the life that God gave us everyday i wake up in the morning, every breath that i take and every step that i made in this world is a beautiful and wonderful gift. On this coming Christmas i guess the best gift that i can receive is that i am with my family and we will all go to church and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. I often give gifts during Christmas day, and that is the reason why i often receive gifts too. No matter how much the gift is, what important still is that it comes from your heart. Remember the saying "it's the thought that counts". I even give gifts to people whom i hate the most, it is Christmas and it is time for peace. No matter how heavy the sin or the mistake that those people did to me, i still give them gifts, i am also human therefore i create mistakes and they are the same as me, i do not have a right not to forgive, even God forgive sinful people, what more of me? Forgiving is a hell of a gift for people and giving gifts shows that they are already forgiven. Peace is a hell of a gift in the whole world, but it is really next to impossible, but i just hope it does happen. Have a great day! Merry Christmas to you and i wish you a blessed and happy Christmas!

I always do receive gifts for Christmas although it is just a few because i like spending more of it on the kids. My husband and I will normally get a few gifts for one another just so we have something to open on Christmas Day. I don't expect any body to get me anything for Christmas but it is always nice I will normally give my husband a list of a few things that I would like for Christmas and he does the same that way we know we will get stuff the we like...Merry Christmas to you too!!!

Yeah i do recieve gifts on Christmas. I dont do that as im money-less i mean im too young to buy gifts to my relatives or friends. I think its ok to recieve gifts but its not the important thing on CHRISTmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesuschrist.

I often receive Christmas gifts from my loved one, relatives and friends but not too many. I do enjoy this season because as what you've said, it's the time to be reunited with our relatives and friends. We will actually have a family gathering this 20th of December and I am really looking forward for that day. I am already expecting for some gifts from them. lol

Well it's true that Christmas is the most awaited season of the year in most countries. Some people say that Christmas is for children only so if you're already a teen or adult don't expect gifts as often during christmas compared to your childhood years. But then sometimes people just say that to excuse themselves giving gifts to you ahahahaha. I still hope that my friends, relatives and special someone would have enough money to spend a special gift to me on Christmas...hehehehe.. But then the most special gifts I've ever receive are my true friends, helpful relatives and an old man who considered me as if I were his true daughter despite of our different race and the love of my life who has been through with my "ups and downs" but still embraces me with so much love....these are the most special and precious gifts I've ever received...those people who truly love and care for me...Thanks God!!!! xoxo!!! sweetsacrifice
