Do you wait for the lunch and dinner also to be finished and then all at one time, you wash them. i wash time to time. i mean as i finish one thing i was some of the kept dishes in the sink then i do something , then i wash them. i dont pile them up. otherwise it is such a boring task to complete that i just hate to do it. i have having a servant to do my dish washing work , but i cant give to many dishes to her also . otherwise she will run away, lol. i have to take care of the number of dishes that i give. how do you manage your dishes ?

I wash as I finish using them, after cooking, before lunch or dinner and after eating. It is difficult to pile them up so I tidy the sink everytime. In our place, there is a time for water supply. We have no water from 9AM - 10AM, from 2PM - 5PM and from 10PM - 6AM so while there is water coming out of the faucet, I hurry to wash all that needs washing.

Hey lady! My family is a self-working one. Every member of my family cleans and washes his/her own used dishes and utensils with his/her responsibility after every meal.

Hi! yes, I wash my dishes just after I have finished cook, because I don't want to leave them dirty, waiting to amass more. And the more they stay unwashed, the more harder they get clean!

We wash our dishes right after cooking or after we ate our meal. I don't like to pile up the dishes because it is very hard to wash them all together. If you don't wash it right away the cockcroach or other pest going to your unwashed dishes that's why we don't like to left our dishes at night.

We have a D/W, I REFUSE TO USE IT![em]w00t I LOVE WASHING MY DISHES BY HAND!!!happy YES, I wash my dishes 'then' as I finish using them while I'm cooking. EVERYONE in my house knows (from my wife to the kids) my KITCHEN CAN"T BE LEFT DIRTY EVER! For me its a form of therapy & relaxation washing dishes b/c ALL of MY REAL COOKS know the "KITCHEN" is the central gathering point of the house. Even if we go over relative's houses and eat there I still wash the dishes by hand...that is all the ones I can before they kick me out of the kitchen.lol happy holidays & my lotting

Hay, I do the same. I mean, when I cook, every dish, I empty into a container and wash the pan. Its very easy. Meal time, just heat the containers, eat, and put the leftover in the fridge and wash the empty containers. Plates of course, my people wash their own plate other than my 7 yr old daughter, which I wash. So doing dishes is not a major for me. Take care.

It depends on both my mood and the time of the day whether I’ll wash my dishes then and there or keep them in the kitchen sink. During week days when I’m rushing to office, I try and wash as many dishes and pans and woks as possible…I just dislike the idea of keeping dirty dishes like that throughout the day. On weekends, I pile them up and then wash and clean after I finish all my cooking and before I go to take my bath. I don’t like washing dishes in the night time…so after dinner, the dishes and utensils are kept in the sink to be washed next morning. I don’t have any servants, so I do it all by myself.

I never do my dishes straight after a meal Im afraid. It may be 30 minutes or it may be the next morning when I do them. I pile them into the dishwasher. There are some dishes that need to be handwashed, so I try to do them before I go to bed. A boring, but neceassary task.

This is a good question. I have seen many people dumping their kitchen sink with lots of dirty dishes once they complete cooking a big meal. I hate it. I hate to see my sink filled with dirty dishes. I make sure to use very little number of dishes while cooking. Also, check if there is a chance to resue dishes. Most of the people in my country don't use dishwasher. We do it manually. I make sure to clean the dish in the small breaks of cooking. I don't leave it till I complete cooking.

I have a dishwasher but while cooking I'm cleaning the stuff I dirty before I sit to eat. I can't eat if I know the kitchen is dirty. So I have to clean as I go along. As for the dishwasher its run every other day.

Hi aweins, As you have mentioned dish washing is such a boring job and very irritating when it piles up, so I keep washing my dish every time a few is collected in the sink, I do not like when some one else washes my dish as I want it to be absolutely sparkling all the time and I cannot expect this from domestic help.

I try to always wash my dishes right after dinner time in the evenings. If I wait too long, I am out of the mood to do them. I like to get the chore over with so I don't have it to worry about anymore.

I usually first cook, then eat, and then wash the dishes. If I don't have enough time I'll let them until I go back, but usually I prefer not having to do this, as when you find a lot of dishes waiting for you, it makes you lose your motivation to wash them.

I try to do dishes right after I'm done dirtying them.I do that because I don't like a sinkfull of dishes. They tend to start smelling if I was to leave them all day.I'm a neat freak so I don't like dirty dishes.I like everything spotless.

Nope. After each cooking session, all utensils should be washed right-away. Thats the rule in the house. My wife hates to see enormous files of utensils in the sink. She immediately burst into anger whenever she she's one. Thats why every member of the family learn to wash them right after each use.

In my family, it takes turns to do the chores. It is not right letting one people always do the cleaning after dinner or lunch. Each family should take hie/her role in the chores. Happy mylotting!

I load my dishes into a dishwasher, then once it gets full I run it! Pretty simple for me lol
