Howard got his first career shut out tonight as a Red Wing! He was spectacular. It was made extra special for him because his grandma and grandpa were at the game. He's not keeping the puck. His first shut out is alo Babcocks 300th win. Howard said that was a bigger milestone than a shut-out so coach could have the puck.

Yes, I did check and it was shut-out! Good for him! I guess it is always special for players if they have family around during the game. Like you said, I know he's not keeping the puck, but don't you think it is a bit of an irony for a goaltender to keep a game puck to commemorate a shut out? When he just tried to not let one in for 60 minutes?

LOL..yes Bounce I gues that would be ironic. It was kind of cool that he got it against Tampa..since Ozzies record against tampa is 17-0. Everyone thought that Babcock would go with Oz because he's never lost to tampa, as a wing anyway, and now, neither has Jimmy.
