Do you excercise?

Excercise! - Excercise is very good for the body. It works up your muscles and makes you fit and capable of doing more stuff than normal human beings, such as stamina.

Hey fellow mylotters! This is a question about excercise and fitness. I really want to know whether or not you ecercise and your fitness state. Me, being on the lazy side, don't really excercise, besides walking half a kilometer every day. So I would consider myself unfit and I notice this a lot because I get tired after a minute of runing. Just because I'm unfit, it does not mean that I'm fat, but like most obese people, I get tired easily. And because of this, I want to take more time excercising in every day life, as I know not doing excercise means you are unfit and when you are unfit, your muscles aren't really healthy which leads you to having a shorter life span. So my question for you is: Do you excercise? If you do, how often?

im currently in training to join the Parachute regiment (the british version of the american green berets) so i have a great fitness program right now which roughly consists of 2x 5mile runs a week and for more cardio on the other days i do sets of 400 meter and 800 meter sprints and then for strength i do body weight circuits such as 3 sets of 15 pull ups, 4 sets of 35 press-ups, 4 sets of 40 sit ups and leg raises, i also do squats and a load of other excercises along with martial arts twice a week it was tough at first to get used to running but after a while you get better and better i can now run 5 miles in 30 minutes just put in the effort and you will reap the rewards you should aim to smash it every time mate good luck.

I am home-based so I rarely move around unlike before when I still go to school. I have a treadmill at home though so i can actually exercise whenever I want to. i also have a couple of exercise DVDs which i enjoy so much. We also have stairs at home so it's part of my daily routine to go up and down on it. I nver hated exercising and I feel more lifeless when I dont get sweaty and active.

Hi...borg246..itseems you have read my mind. You have exactly put all what i had to say about myself.Well i too do not exercise everyday and walking is the only means which i do everyday to keep myself fit.I know walking alone may not help but still i am happy as i am doing atleast that.Walking early morning gives a very fresh feel for both body and mind. There is a specific reason why i do not exercise, firstly i do not have enough time to learn exercises from an expert or a trainer so that later i can do it by myself and i do not want to try anything myself because wrong procedures may harm physically.

I am terrible about exercising...I will start it and then within a few weeks I always just seem to stop but with no real reason. I have been working with following the Julian Michaels from Biggest Loser shredder exercise and have been sticking with it so for but it has also only been two weeks and I was weighed at the doctors that other day and gained a pound so I am sure I won't stick with this one either....

Hi borg246! I want myself to be fit and healthy so I exercise 15-30 minutes a day. I usually jog or brisk walk every morning just enough to make my heart pump and sweat. If I ate more calories, I need to burn them in the treadmill. I don't want to get thin, I just want to get into my shape. Happy mylotting!

...Hi borg246, I admire anyone who exercise, tries to eat healthy, and so forth, that is called being a grown up and trying to take care of yourself. I try to exercise as much as possible, but that is on a limited basis as I have a bad back. I have discovered somethimg though, which I share with those who are interested. You can excercise very well right in your bed, before you get up. Leg lifts, arm swings, knees swinging back and forth together, sit ups, and your own variations. Try it, it keeps the pressure off of your back and you still get a work out of sorts. Take care.

I exercise everydays, but without going to a gym or something like that. I live far from the station, and I go by walk. I also always take the stairs in the station, and then have to walk again when going to school, so you can say I spend at least an hour a day or more moving. That makes me feel healthy!

I just honestly don't know where to start or what to do! I wouldn't feel comfortable in a gym and really don't wanna put out a ton of money into gym stuff for my house.

Hi borg246. I know that exercising is really good for our health. But, like you, I think I also belong to the lazy side. I often feel like exercising is indeed very tiring. Every time I try to do some simple exercises, I always stop quickly. My father used to tell me some advices regarding exercises but I usually take all those advices for granted. I know it isn't good but what can I do? Every time my mind commands me to do it, my body disagrees. It's really hard if our minds and our bodies do not coordinate with each other.

exercise is not just for the fat anymore, it's for everyone. everyone has to exercise, the benefits are countless for your health and well being. if you exercise, you will feel much better, and it really doesn't take much of your time to do it. i exercise 3 to 4 times a week and i've never felt better.

I do exercise fairly regularly. No the gym type of exercises. My favorite way is jogging along the park way. I find that very refreshing and helpful in keeping healthy. Ofcourse, some times, I cannot go out when the weather is nor favorable. I get to go jogging two or three days a week, in the vening times after I get back home from work.

I try to exercise often!!I do a lot of sit-ups.I also work cleaning houses right now which is exercise enough, believe me!!I live upstairs so walking up and down the stairs has helped. My daughter says it's working cause she said my arms are much thinner right now.But when she exercises, she REALLY exercises!!!She will wear you out just telling you what she's done. hi my friends as far it is for exercise then i will say that i try to exercise every time i am free , people say that always exercise empty stomach but i think this advise is for them who wants to get slim , i always do exercise either for two minutes or for 10 mins in the morning , afternoon and night also , even before going to bed i do some exercise in order to be fit and fine and with exercise i do eat healthy fruits and vegetables which helps me a lot to be fit and fine. so i think whenever you are free just start doing exercise and you will feel relax and even your body will be relaxed too..

I think the shorter lifespan if you don't have muscle tone sounds a bit extreme but, anyway, no I don't exercise and I really, REALLY should! I shall be at my Mum's in a few hours which means, more walking, not being as sedentary i.e. sitting in front of this computer...and generally, being more active. The sea air will be...er...BRACING...as well!

Well, i rather not speak of exercise. Just kidding. I've myself quit from handball in this year, after being a player since i was kid. But i miss handball. If i didn't play it at school classes, i'd be very sad and ansious to play it. But i'm started to remember the bad things that caused me to just quit handball for good. My former coach was constantly getting bad at me, not at the other players. Everytime i've did something bad, he was getting bad at me. But just at me, not to my fellas! So, after spending 4 months burning my head i decided to quit. I don't practise nothing since i quit. So, my muscles must be screaming to get back to it. Yeah, i'm lazy. So what?
