This I think ios an awesome shot of my outdoor Christmas lights I took. It was taken at night from inside. As we all know the shutter takes longer to open when it's dark so the camera has to be held still for a crisp clear photo. I decided to shake the camera to get a blurred effect. This is the result after about 25 shots. Well the best shot anyhow that I liked. Have you ever tried taking a shot like this? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

That is a very cool shot. I did try taking some pictures of downtown LA at night from Mt. Hollywood above Griffith Observatory, but they came out pretty fuzzy, nowhere near this good.

Do you use a digital camera at all? I take many, many shiots when I do things like this. Then I go through them editing them until I get what I want. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I have a pretty decent digital camera. I don't usually go through and edit my shots though...

Another greeting card-worthy shot. I was wondering when you were going to start sharing your creative shots with us again.

That's cool - looks like someone spent hours setting up a special effects to get all the lights to move the same way - and you did it with a simple "snap" well, after 25 shots anyway!

How creative you are! That's a lovely shot, as if they are happy and dancing looking forward to Christmas! I didn't put lights outside this year. I might put some on the inside windows today or tomorrow but it's hard for me to manage putting up lights by myself. I sure do enjoy looking at others on my street, wish I could join them but I just can't this year.

Hi GRANDPA BOB, The light looks so pretty the way you took them, no I have never tried anything like that as we don't have outside lights all I have is the lights on my Christmas tree. Tamara

Hey Grandpa Bob! This shot is beyond incredible! The colors and the shapes are just out of this world! I don't have any idea how you do it, but you are the master of digital photography! My friend is giving me a digital Sony camera that is about 1 year old, hardly used and I can't wait to get it! I have no idea how to even start using it! I am just so excited that I will finally have a camera that I can use to post photos online! Wish me luck! I hope to have it by next weeek!
