Do you like to keep secrets or tell others?

I am the one who do not like to keep secrets. If possible, I would not hide things. I would find someone to talk to. Keeping secrets is such an uncomfortable thing to me. So, you can say I have no secret of myself. However, of course, I will not tell others my friends' secrets. I zip my month definitely on that. I usually tell my friends not to let me know their secrets, as I do not want to store them.

we have an opposite character. i always want to keep my privacy and avoid nosy people around. ofcourse i trust my friends but only really few of them and yes i share some of my secrets but there are boundaries. i mean, i have to consider the point of telling. if it will benefit the others even if it's bad, then i would tell, but if it's, i won't bother. i always don't mind other people's secret even my friends, i don't even care if they tell me or not as long as the true meaning of friendship is kept, we understand each other whether i know their secrets or not and so them to me.

hi lucky09! same with me, i too am a locker full of secrets hehe although i am not eager on finding things about my friends i would only let them tell it to me if they are comfortable and yeah i too have only a few close friends who know some things about me... guess i am seeing you after few days.. have a nice day

yeah i've been missing mylot and mylot friends a lot because i'm busy preparing for some important changes soon. i do peep here sometimes if i can find some minutes to spare. i know it isn't enough but im thankful that good friends here like you still remembers.

Ahhh..i am totally the opposite:s..I cant trust anyone to that extent that i share my secrets with him/her...Actually I use to do so..but got betrayed one..so cant trust anyone now...

Thanks but i faced a very unusual thing when i got betrayed by best friend whom i trusted the most in the world..my friend who was a great and trustworthy person, developed schizeopherenea, the bipolar syndrome. So you know one does not have any control on what he/she is doing in such a poor mental condition.the point im trying to make is that even if you trust someone,,even if that person loves and respects you,even if he/she is never likely to betray you, the chances of a betrayal of the trust are always there...
I dont think my friends n family are not trustworthy..im just advicing you guys that its better not to trust anyone with your secrets..if you have one:)

although nothing bad happened to me when my friend betrayed my trust,(coz we were just kids when my friend got sick and lol,there was no such dark secret by the way) but still, I learnt my lesson for the rest of my life.

Poor you! I understand that being betrayed would had a very bad time, that is why you do not like to tell others your secrets. I only choose someone that I trust when telling secrets, usually just one or two. Moreover, I do not have many secrets. :)

... i have only a couple of few good friends with whom i am comfortable sharing things about me, i am a little conservative... i am not eager to find out my friend's secrets i would only let them tell it to me themselves if they find it comfortable to share with me and the same with me too, otherwise i would not tell others anything about me..

I don't like to spill the beans at all! Keeping secrets, if only to myself, even, makes me feel more secure about myself and it helps to allow me some control in some aspect of my life. It can really help a person to know that you and another are the only ones who know a certain something.

I have my very own secrets that I don't tell anyone. I'm a person who can keep a secret, but most of the people I know don't, so if I ever tell them it won't be a secret anymore.
We need our own personal space sometimes, so I think is good to have a few things for yourself only.

I cannot keep the secret and I'll tell anyone the truth. I usually share with my parents and my brother also my sister even though I talked about my friends. If such a secret hidden in making me nervous and wanted to express everything.

For most things I don't like to keep secrets. I agree with you most of the time its just not worth the headache over keeping them. Except with somethings I do keep them to myself. Also, I have no issues keeping friend's secrets. If I didn't want to I would tell them not to tell me, but I feel like you should keep those secrets for loyalty reasons.

Hi..for me maintaining secrecy is a matter of loyalty.Because my friends would have trusted me to share their secrets and so i believe in maintaining that as a secret.Yeah...when it comes to my own issues,i do share with people but not everything,i share only few things which i feel even when they leak out the matter it is going to be ok in the long run.There are few issues which i do not like to tell to friends except one or two genuine ones,with whom i am myself...i am an open book to those.

It depends on what the thing is. If it's something really embarrassing or something I just don't want the prying minds of other to know, then no I am not going to tell anyone. If it's just stupid things like who I kissed the other night, or who said what, or who did what at the last party, then I usually share it.

Yah,I agree.And like you I also choose someone to talk to.Because it's not right to tell anybody especially if they doesn't know more about you.I find myself discussing my secrets to someone who definitely willing to understand you in all things,the one who can relate to what we are talking,and the one who is comfortable with.After all,it soothes the burdens you have,and you can do things more easier.

I dont like to keep secrets, but I dont like to be considered non trustworthy either. So even though I may be tempted to run my mouth, I always hold myself back, because nothing is worser than when someone doesnt want to trust you for being a blabber mouth

Whenever someone tells me their secret I feel flattered because that means that the person trusts me and I wouldn't like that trust to be broken.
That's why I'm better of shutting my mouth.

depending on the situation,i am able to keep secrets or tell others. I try to weigh the merit if keeping the secret helps the person.then no one can extract it out of me .similarly if i see telling the secret helping someone then i would tell it.

If that is my secret,and i want to share or just tell to my friend for comprehension.I will. I am a people who like to share and tell.
And if that is my friend's secret,and he/she just want me one know that ,I won't tell others.
