Hulk Hogan has decided to join Dixie Carter and TNA wrestling. There plan is to take on WWE and Vince McMahon in ratings. The first episode with Hulk Hogan will be airing on January 4th @ 8pm...will you be watching? I will be watching and will be keeping my fingers crossed that Hulk and TNA can get good enough ratings to potentially hurt WWE and Vince McMahon...WWE wrestling went down hill years ago and I am so tired of the drama in it. I understand that the name was changed to WWEntertainment but the second E still stands for wrestling right? So where is the wrestling? At least with TNA you still get the wrestling and the matches are so much more than the WWE what do you think?

hi froggieslover. heard this news bit awhile back. not really surprised about hogan making the move to tna. i mean wwe superstars who wanted to take a break from the crazy schedules and the crazier politics of the wwe do take this route. mick foley, kurt angle, rhino, macho man, kevin nash, razor ramon, and other former wwe superstars have made the switch so why not the immortal one? this will definitely bode well for tna and its fans. the healthy competition between the wwe and tna will only benefit wrestling fans. i do hope tna creative makes the full use of hogan. i'd like to see hogan go up against former wwe superstars as well as tna originals. can't wait for this one. cheers!!!

I do think that that was tna's ambitions when bringing over the previous superstars but it so far didn't seem to help them much but I do hope that Hogan is able to do it for them. It would be nice to bring back the cometition of the two companies like it was when WCW and WWF used to be able to do...it got pretty bland when Vince was the only one and had no one to compete against...

Hulk has been with TNA/WWE for a few weeks actually. In a managment type roll. If you watch it at all you'd know that the TNA is owned by WWE and Vincent Kennedy McMahon and family. He wants to buy out ECW. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I know that he has been with TNA for a few weeks now but doesn't make his appearance until January 4th...he pretty much stuck it to WWE right when they were releasing his DVD. ECW is owned by Vince but TNA is owned by Dixie Carter and her father as well as The Jarrett family and has been from the beginning. Vince has never had his teeth into this promotion which is nice for once, we actually have the chance to see some wrestling like the older days and not so much of the entertainment. Thanks a bunch for your response grandpa bob and happy holidays to you as well

I used to watch wrestling as a kid but not since. Did you know that Hulk Hogan made a Christmas movie? "Santa With Muscles". It was pretty cheesy but he looked cute.

Nope. It was made in 1996. "Jackie" from That 70s Show played one of the orphans... (what's a Christmas story without orphans?) Ed Begley Jr was in it, too.

Since I am not really into wrestling I probably won't watch that particular episode although I would like to follow how he does in the rating. I think it is great that he still wants to be out there in the public eye. I tend to respect him for coming out when he did. I hope he does well in his efforts.

I too hope he does well...I just think it would be nice for Vince(the owner of WWE) to know what it is like to squirm a bit...I think he has taken wrestling in a direction that hasn't done any good, it is more like a soap opera. We will have to wait and see I think it would be great for Hulk to succeed over Vince....Thanks for your response celtic

The E stands for entertainment, lol. I'm getting sick of the DX/Dwarf cartoon aspect of the show, it's not even funny. They're bringing in younger wrestlers, but they're not doing anything with them. Sean Micheals is really starting to show his age, and besides, I liked the old DX, with X-Poc and Chyna, with just them two, it's dumb. I'm starting to like TNA more, mostly because their women's division is better. The women wrestlers on WWE aren't wrestlers, they're boobs and fake hair extensions. Bret Hart is coming on that same day TNA is debuting Hulk Hogan. That makes me laugh, because they must be worried about their ratings taking a hit, a least on mondays.

I heard that TNA is purposely going to air on Monday to compete against WWE that tickles me. I realize that the E stands for entertainment but there is more entertainment than wrestling. It should be name Entertaining World Entertainment...were did all the good wrestling go. I love the veterans but I agree that it is time for something new..DX, Shawn Michaels, Orton and Cena are becoming like a bunch of broken records and yes there girls are more eye candy than wrestlers. In my opinion Mickie James is the only diva that can really wrestle..she needs to head over to TNA. I guess we will have to wait and see but I am pulling more for Hulk and TNA. I also read that Bret is only signed in for a short deal so we will have to see what they do with him and I am surprised that he went back after everything that happened between the two of them because that was real not part of the WWE script so we will have to see where it goes...Thanks a bunch for your response fortunata
