My puter put me down!

Dang LKo sorry to hear that but on a positive note at least you don't have to go out & buy a new pc. |:)

i have learned to save all my files on an external Hard drive just in case something like this happened to me because it already happened to me! and i lost all my precious and memorable pictures and all my music collection when my PC crashed.

What a shame. Surely you can get your pictures back from where you stored them?

Oh, been there...done that!With our old computer desktop that is. I think that computer was a lot older than our son.That computer also did a lot of rebooting. When I was a newbie here at Mylot, 3 years ago, that was the computer I was using. There were times that I had typed a long response and when I hit submit, the screen won't change. I lost count the times I wanted to smash the computer into a million pieces, out of frustration. And like you, I also lost some important files and pictures. We now have a laptop but just to make sure, I have a back-up copy of all that I have in that computer. Most importantly, the pictures I took of my family, especially my growing children. I can't afford to lose those timeless images again!Kids grow up so fast, you need to keep a photo of them as a reminder that once, they were your babies.

I am so sorry that you are having troubles with your PC. I think my local library would really get tired of seeing me because I would be there. Just have to figure how I can get on their computers for more than the hour they allow. Hope you get it up and running normally again very soon. Happy holidays!

Next time your puter does that call me ! The best thing to try is to UNPLUG everything including your monitor and leave it alone for a while. My guess is tho you have virus. have you run your anti virus program? But could be a program interfering too. Let me know. quita

Well I really hope that you have it sorted by now and back to normal I think you need to do a Back up Disc so you do not have this Problem in Future

I just hate when that happens, I lost so many things over the years and finally in august my computer went down for good and I got a new on in november. It was so hard without a decent working computer. I had borrowed a computer until I could afford my own.

Sometimes my computer experience the same thing, it does not respond and I have to shut it and restart. The only reason is the ram is small so could not open many tabs at once. I hope your comp is okay now.

I hate when that happens, and you don't get a chance to save your stuff, like your pictures, I'd be upset too. I hope you get everything running again..Have a Merry Christmas too...

check your cable if it not tighten then you should tighten the cable. Most thing is not working well when we don't check it whenever we want to use it. I hope your computer is fixed.
