Would you want to have more than one computer?

I used to have one desktop computer. Now I have got rid of that and I have a laptop for home and a net book for traveling. I wouldn't want to go back to having a desktop computer because when I had one it took up much space. I would love to get a better laptop like a faster one. Would you want to have more than one computer? Why? Do you have a desktop or a laptop? Why?

I would like to have more than one computer because I would want to operate my computer on another operating system and have fun with it, while I am having access with my original computer. I have a desktop in my bedroom, but I would like to have a laptop just to access anywhere. The problem is I cannot afford one, because I have to depend on my old desktop to work properly.

Hi there, So far I have two computers, a laptop and a desktop. Laptop is used for going out or traveling, and desktop is used for playing games or watching movie at home. It's so convenient. Though the desktop takes much space, its performance is much better than laptop. And the size of screen of desktop is much bigger than laptop. It's comfortable to watch TV using desktop.

We have two desktops and a laptop and we use each of them daily. We also have an older desktop that we are thinking of setting up for our kids to use without internet access. We use our desktops in our home office, one for me and the other for my wife as we run our business from home. We have the laptop for using in the house when we are not in the office, like at night time and weekends. It also comes travelling with us so that we can load our travel photos from the camera and get online if we have to.

Of course anybody and everybody would want 1+ computers! The more computers you had the best the gaming is and the better the music is! but the bad thing is bout the connection. If you're using wireless, it makes the desktop slower by 0.7-1.2x+ for its dl and ul speeds. ESPECIALLY when you're downloading stuff... _

Actually right now there are 4 computers at my home. They are three laptops and one desktop. Therefore, I don't have reason to buy one more computer because it is not necessary. I love China

One desktop in my room, one in my older daughter's room, two older ones that aren't hooked up to the internet that we need to get rid of. Laptops are coming soon, I think though...

I don't need to have more than one computer, i am contented with one computer at home since it's just for personal and home use only, but if ever i could have a serious online job and requires another computer, then maybe that would be the time i'll have a to buy a new one.

We have two desktops... One for me and one for my husband....We do not touch each others computers unless asked because I work from home and go to school and he is afraid to erase things needed......Sometimes he will ask me to put a program or something on their for him....

I have a desktop and a laptop. With a desktop, you can get a much more powerful computer for less money than a laptop. I use it for software that demands more computing power and memory. I also have more peripherals hooked up to it, such as multiple printers, scanners, fax, etc. and I have it as my base computer wired into my router and wireless network for my laptop. The laptop is primarily for surfing the internet from anywhere in the house or my patio and I have minimal software installed on it to keep it fast and efficient. It definitely works out better for me to have both types of computer.

Haha, I have two computers now, a desktop one and a laptop one, and one for my wife and one for me. I always was kept from the computer by my wife when there was only one computer, so I have to buy another one for her, so we can play computers peacefully.

I have both laptop and desktop at present, neither of which I would like to part with. I tend to use them for different reasons, so both of them are in regular use. If either of them became unreparable then I would not hesitate to replace them.

Yes, I would love a lap top that I could take travelling with me, but for it to be practical I would need to be able to afford a wireless connection for it. At the moment, I have a desk top one which is very goid. My daughter has a laptop and she logs on by using a router I have on my computer.

Right now, I only have one desktop at home. Given a chance and money I would love to have a laptop but I won't get rid of the desktop. I would just let my son use the desktop while I use the laptop. The desktop is kinda old already, that's why when I open several tabs, it will run slow. I want a faster laptop, since I like multitasking and opening several tabs. Happy holidays.

I used to have a desktop, when it broke down I decided to buy a laptop instead of a new desktop, and I definately don't regret that decision. I have a wireless internet connection and I love the freedom that it gives me. In past I always used my computer in my livingroom, but now I can use my laptop in every room, and that is very convenient. I am also able to bring my laptop when I go somewhere else, I was never able to do that in the past, and it is very nice to have that kind of freedom. I don't plan on buying a desktop again.

I wanna to have another computer while i have a laptop now.I think i will buy a desktop as my next computer.Laptop is suitable for mobile use so it's usually low in configuration. And desktop is convenient in changing hardware and OS so it's adequate for playing games and wacthing HDT.

I would rather have only one computer which is really good. And it should be a laptop. I don't want to take the time to manage things on more than one computer, like I may have added a website to the Bookmarks on one computer for easy access. But the other computers don't remember the site. You can't make all your computers synchronous. And you may get confused when you try to find something but you don't know which computer you have put the thing.Anyway I prefer to have one. A desktop or a laptop? As I said a laptop.A simple reason is that I don't have a computer at home. Then I need a laptop to take home when I leave school. You know it's so easy take a laptop.
