what would make the perfect Christmas for you? do you think we set our sights too high at Christmas time? we have to get the perfect present and spend way more money than we have to get it. we dont get what we wanted or we get something we dont like? should you go into debt for Christmas? (we do not use credit cards [at all, period!] because my hubby is out of a job. we were fortunate to be given some money from our church which we have used for Christmas presents).

the perfect christmas for me is not synonymous to lots of gifts and delicious food. for me, having the whole family around, celebrating and sharing stories and having fun together is enough. with everyone having hectic schedules during work days, there was a time when there was little to no communication between our family members. But now, we get to enjoy a lot since our family hangs out everyday :)

The perfect Christmas would be the true meaning of it. I hate that I have to buy gifts and hide them and go through all this Santa crap. Jesus is the reason for the season and I think next year we are scraping all the Christmas hoo ha and supporting a family in need. I'm glad that your church could help you out. Merry Christmas.

christmas is not really a big thing for me anymore, so I really don't care all that much. Christmas is just another day. I would love to see that all the children of the world who celebrated christmas go their christmas presents, that would be wonderful.

As long as we all get along and have good food, that is perfict enough for me. I wish we would just get each other only one present. Trying to do more than that gets tiring, esp. since I'm making almost all the presents this year. Each of the three Kings, wise men, whoever only brought one present each. But every time someone sees something, "Oh that would be perfict for so-n-so." It's just hard with the economics now, you know?

Christmas these days is more about making my kids happy then myself. My husband always gets me nice gifts but they come out of the family budget so in a way I end up paying for them myself. For me Christmas is just a lot of work and money spending. I do enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas days though because I am with my family and my husband's family and we can all just enjoy being together.

Hey cher! Like most people this year my boyfriend and are low on funds for Christmas. We are only buying gifts for each other that are things that we need, and maybe one small gift that is for fun. I bought him a pair of work boots today and I am buying him some boxers, an insulated hoodie, and a pair of slippers. We can't afford to be extravagant so we are sticking to our plan!

A perfect Christmas for me would be for my dad to stop smoking and stop drinking and spending some time with the family instead of glued in front of the television from morning till night and to help with the preparations of making Christmas. Sadly this will never happen, and that is partly why I don't enjoy Christmas. I would also love for my mum to be 100% healthy and her bad leg healed that would be a miracle and if I could I would give that to her on Christmas morning as one of her presents.

The perfect Xmas for me is one that involves me being as far from other humans as possible. Preferably with a video game and working console. But, if I must be around family, then to keep things as low-key as possible. I do not like added stresses.
