I am hoping to get enough rest for later since my agenda for today is either rest in the morning or bake. But before I bake I have to buy other ingredients first in the mall which I know will be crowded. Then once I bake and pack them most likely it will be done after lunch. I am going to church at 6 in the evening with my family. After church, I am going to my parents house to have an early dinner. Once I am done there then I go to my in-laws to spend the whole night till early morning of Christmas day already. For Christmas day, I will be so tired because I have 4 parties to attend to which is one after another. The bad thing is the last party will be in the house where I stay in. Which as we all know, nobody can rest when you are the host of the party. So, how about you? Do you have so many things planned for Christmas eve? Will it be something you are waiting for or you would rather just skip this occasion?

Hi sublime: I don't think so. I'm on the opposite. I wake up at 8 am, i went to church, I made some obligations until 12m and then I was connected on mylot. Now i am workin until 9pm then I'll be home with my parents, brother, sister, and the rest of the family to simply celebrate, eat all that i can and enjoy the Christmas eve. That's all. Thanks for asking me this question. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays. Take care. -Alvaro.

My children and I will be celelbrating Christmas this Christmas Eve, Christmas Day will be spent with the rest of our family at my mother's house. We will exchange gifts on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. A lot of activity is planned for Christmas Day including a wonderful meal and happy times with the family.

HI sender: It's really nice that as me, you can celebrate Christmas with the whole family, specially for the little kids. When i was a little kid i remember the Christmas eve as an special celebration, i love that in this special ocation i could play with my cousins, it was just amazing and the fireworks. I simply love Christmas. Thanks for your answer. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays. Take Care. -Alvaro.

Well, we are mainly Hindus here in India but the spirit of Christmas is so infectious that I’ve grown up seeing almost everybody around me plan something or the other for Christmas. Since no religious obligations are there, we usually take it easy and go for a picnic or something and just enjoy ourselves. Usually on Christmas eve my son and me will go out and buy some good cakes and other treats as also a good dinner from a takeaway…so right now, I’m looking forward to today’s evening when my son and I have some grand plans and good shopping to perk up our spirits and soak in the good feelings all around us.

I don't have a whole lot of plans for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. I have to work tomorrow (Christmas Eve), but the restaurant I work in is closing at 4 P.M., and all my shopping is done, so I am coming home when I get off work. I don't plan to do much tomorrow night, though I may get online and work on some things, because my wife is sick, and she will probably be coming home tomorrow night and going to bed, meaning I will be here alone for the most part unless I go over to a neighbors house or something. I will be staying close to home at least, though, just in case my wife needs me for something. I am sure we will end up at either her dad's house or another one of her relatives' houses at some point on Christmas Day, although I don't really care about going to see any of them, so I probably won't be staying long, even if that means I have to drive my own truck to make an appearance at the gathering. Otherwise, I don't really know what I am going to do on Christmas Day. I may go out into my shed and work on some stuff out there, or I may just stretch out on the couch and nap all day. I am sure I will find something to do...

At 4 p.m. I am going to church with my husband, my father and my grandmother. When we get back to my parents' place we will eat our christmas dinner. We usually eat duck or roast pork, but sometimes we have goose or turkey instead. For dessert we will have the tradional Danish dish (risalamande) which is a kind of rice porridge with whipped cream, vanilla and almonds. There is one whole almond in the bowl and the person who find it recieves a small present. After our christmas dinner we sing some christmas songs and open the presents. When we have opened all of the presents we drink coffee and eat cookies and chocolate.

I'm the same = every year I say, I'm NOT gonna do all me own baking, but then ... guess who was dashing around trying to get sold-out mincemeat at 12 midnight tonight ?! Normally I make my own, but this year I've cheated - bought store mincemeat and then added my own touches. I did my own puds and cake, too - though as usual they've had no time to mature. I make my own swags from fresh greenery as well. Just about to put the finishing touches on now ... Come boxing day, I'll sleep solid!

HI jazzsue58! Funny. I rushed to 3 different malls yesterday morning and when I got back after lunch i had to bake. After baking I had to take a bath and get ready to go to the Christmas eve service. I woke up so early and slept around 2 or 3 in the morning already. But my son's appreciation with gifts are awesome. Had the best christmas. Merry Christmas jazzsue58 and thank you for responding!
