Yes, as a lot know here Buster, my beagle, loves the snow. With this big storm we've had for 3 days now the backyard is a huge white playground for him. This shot shows him jumpinmg over a pile to get back to the porch out back. I watch him run like crazy through the snow. He chased a squirrel earlier and the critter buried itself in the snow and tunneled away from Buster. Does your dog chase critters in your yard? Does your dog have a favorite area etc that he loves to play in/with etc? HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

My dog is getting up there in years. Plus, I live in a city and I do not have a fenced in yard, so I really can't let her loose. However, I know very well she would love to chase a rabbit, squirrel or whatever for she gives a mighty good tugged on the leash during a walk and she spies a critter. I kind of miss the time when she was more lively but time marches on. Though old (have had her for 10 or 11 years) she is strong. Pulled me into a ditch one time on a snowy day!

I've had Buster about 5 years and he is around 9 or 10 I'd guess. One day last year he brought a rabbit to me in his mouth. It was missing a hind leg. Ewwwww! But no thanks Buster. I had Great Damnes many years ago. They were chained to the bumper of my truck for their walks. HAHAHA! I lived on a small isalnd of maybe 4 sq.miles so I drove it in idle and went maybe 5 mph and they were never in harm. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I always love seeing pictures of Buster! My dogs aren't really impressed with the snow even though they were born and raised in Arizona. Gus, though, loves to stand very still and let the birds fly down to the ground to get the seeds that fall from the bird feeder. Then he'll run at them and make them all fly up in a cloud of wings and sound! He never tires of that.

hi Grandpa Bob oh when we had our own house our dog would try to catch the squirrels but of course they were too smart for him byt far and too too quick. so then they would sit on a tree branch and chatter down at him, and he would bark. like they were calling na na na, you can't catch me.

We have a yorkie and heloves to eat the snow nd I thin its so cute. He didnt know how to act in the snow at all. It was so cute watching him and his reactions. The only thing he dont like is how cold it is.

I don't have any dogs, and I can't remember but I think when I had them they didn't like snow. They were little dogs the last couple of years and there paws got too cold.

LOL. I bet that is so cute when he does that. We have a new puppy in our home this year. We have not had much snow here either. We did get a little bit and he loved it. He rubbed through it and ate some of it LOL. He is still a pup so he has not learned to chase yet. Our back yard is closed in also. Our dog loves to play in his playpen LOL, in the house.

My hubby's dog loves to jump thru the snow. I need to remind hubby to let him out for a play time as he's been getting restless just going outside on a leash.

Our dogs, when we had dogs, definitely chased everything out of the yard. A few poor possums didn't make it...

My dog doesn't have a favorite place etc. And my dog is chained. But surprisingly he became friends with some cat in my neighborhood. They even shared food. This real! I'm not lying!
