what did you get last night ?

Hi, I'm single so I only received gifts from my family and my best friend. This Christmas I got a new laptop, Nintendo Wii with games and accessories, DVDS from my mom, my mom also made me slippers, hot pads and other items for my kitchen, clothes, candy, body wash and other small items. My best friend got me clothes, NASCAR items, and a Jimmie Johnson NASCAR laptop skin. I'm not picky when it comes to gifts, I'd rather receive small gifts than big ones even though a couple of the things I received we're considered expensive. To me it's the thought that counts and not how big the gift or gifts were, be happy that someone thought of you this holiday season. One thing my mom bought me was stationary which is so pretty and I love it, I recently moved to California and we write to each other once or twice a week as well as talk on the phone but it was nice to get new stationary so I can write her more letters. Regular paper is fine but I love nice paper and envelopes : ) I'm watching a movie she got me for Christmas right now with my room mate/best friend it's called The Pilot's Wife and it sounds so good and so far it's awesome. I had a very nice day, but I wish I had been able to fly back home for Christmas' because I miss my family and friends so hopefully I can make it home next year. Family is the most important thing to me this time of hear and even though my day was nice with cool gifts and great food, I really only wanted my family. The present from my husband was a homemade giftcard with a picture of a guinespig. Inside the card my huband wrote: "My christmas present for you is two guineapigs. I couldn't wrap them up for you, but we can pick them up together when you want to" I was really happy to receive this present. We have already got many pets (6 rabbits, a cat and a dog) but I really wanted to get some guineapigs as well. I had a guineapig many years ago when I was a child, and I really look forward to getting some guineapigs again

Hi, tina256. I did not get anything from my husband for Christmas. He never buys me any gifts. He does not celebrate Christmas. This is one trait that I kind of dislike about him. But, I just will deal with it. I know that someone else could not.

Last night my family (myself, my sister, my mother, my boyfriend and my sister's boyfriend) went to Norwich to where my father is in a stroke rehab center and speant the day with him, as trains do not run on christmas day, we had our christmas yesterday. Today has been a day of good/bad tv and watching all the dvds we unwrapped yesterday. (:
