Personal hygiene is a must. I cant live a day without taking a bath, its a bit exaggerated but closer to the truth. I live in a tropical country with only summer and rainy days. Our air humidity is also high, thus contribute to excessive perspiration when hot. Thats why its a must to take a bath once and followed by a shower which is optional.

I take a bath twice every day. I live in a hot city called Chennai and the summer gets really crazy and it's long. There are only three months which are pleasant, November, December and January. It starts getting hot from February and pretty tough to handle the heat.

Hi, same as you, I live in a tropical country and there aren't four seasons. Only sunny days and rainy days (add in windy days and gloomy days lol). For me, I have to bath at least once a day. If I went out for shopping trips etc, I will have to take 2 baths a day because of the sweat.

i know if you live in a tropical country you have to take a bath/shower at least once a day.i lived in a tropical country when i was a kid and i always bathed twice a day.but now i live in the US where the weather is not very humid and actually very dry in the winter.if i take bath/shower everyday my skin gets really dry and i don't like that.so now i don't take shower every day.every 2 days in the summer and sometimes every 3 days in the winter.

Really? But you can apply moisturizer after taking a bath. I have been to Canada and experienced winter but even if I'm cold I see to it that I take a hot bath everyday. Yes, my skin too gets dry but I drink a lot of water to replenish whats taken. I have a feeling that my blood is not circulating well if I dont take a bath and it makes me feel lazy and less energetic throughout the day.

last time i had a bath was months ago so i would say that i am more of a shower person. Funny thing is, i just started a discussion called 'bath or shower?', went back to the homepage and saw this discussion :P great minds think alike. I think baths take longer than showers and that is why i have a shower everyday rather than a bath :)

I take a bath twice a day. I ever never take a bath for 5 days when I camp with my friend. I can't take a bath because my base camp is in the center of jungle and the river is so far away from my base camp! It's so weird when I'm not take a bath for 5 days! After I came home, I take a bath for 1 hours! Aha... It's feels really good! Have you never take a bath for 5 days like me?

Hi maria: I actually live in a tropical country too but I must admit that I don't take the same hygiene tips you had. maybe because i am a boy but i sometimes forget that I have to take abath everyday, just because i am a lazy nasty boy. I am sorry to say it :(, it's simply true. I once read that french take a bath once a week, at least I take a bath at leas four times a week so i am ok, am not i?. Thanks for asking me this question. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays. Take Care. -Alvaro.

Hi Maria, In Summers, I take bath 2 times a day, especially on very hot days. However, in winters, I take bath mostly once a day. It varies though from hotter days to colder days in both season. It is very relaxing to bath in the evening in hot summer days.

I usually takes bath once in a day. I dont sweat much. There are exceptions like if i have fever or when its too cold, I sometimes skip my bath..:((( Its actually good to take bath two times a day. I read in magazine that taking bath in warm water before your bed time will be good but I dont think so and I have not tried that also.:((

I do take baths, but I only take them when I REALLY stink, or when i'm about to go somewhere, and that could be ANYTIME except for the weekends. I also take my baths with the Vaseline bath beads so that it not only smooths my skin out, but that it doesn't leave any bathtube rings; they're a hassle to clean. Besides I love the smell of the bath beads and the smoothness of the water i'm bathing in when i'm using them. Other times, as a practice of living off of batteries and off the grid, I take a bath to make myself feel better about myself, but only temporary. I leave the electrical lights off and turn on the radio and the LED lanters using my rechargeable batteries. I only do this once a month.

I live in South Africa and here it can get very hot in the summer. We used to take our bath or shower early evening when I was a child but when I started working I started taking my bath or shower in the morning so that I could be fresh for work. I know that in some places people do not take full baths on a regular basis due to a cold climate, so they only "wash up". I personally enjoy water and would seriously not know what to do if I could not bath when ever I felt the need to do so.

I live in a tropical country too. Even though it's rainy season, I'm used to taking a shower twice, uhrmm....at least once. However, if dry season comes, I can take a shower more than twice b'coz it makes me sweaty.
