Yes I did! It kept my out of trouble! I was busy and I was glad to do it! christmas Eve morning was my normal feeding. I took the night one because the guy who does it on Thurseday won't to switch. I said no problem and he is working for me tonight! I did both feedings yesterday bcause I knew one person was out of town and couldn't do it. I ended up doing the morning feeding ,also! Even though it rain both days and the wind was horrible,on Christmas day, I took care of the horses! Now I am tired! I worked hard was thanked for it!

Yeah, those office workers don't realize that the animals still have to be cared for - that you still have to get up and feed the animals, if you have a dairy farm, you still have to milk those cows. Horses don't understand that they are going to miss a meal - and why should they? I'm glad that you would rather be with the horses - I know there have been times I wish I could escape from being around my brother.

I grew up on a dairy farm and we had to milk and feed them! I didn't enjoy it but when you are a kid work isn't fun! Now a day I appreciate work more and rather be around horse more then people some days! At least the horses don't talk back to you and complain like humans do!

Me too! I had the feeding on the evening 23 and the morning the 24. It's very nice and quiet in the stables in the holidays, no people, only hungry horses and hungry cats.

Sounds like my Christmas eve and Christmas day! Besides the cats and horse I also had to feed two goats! It was peaceful for me too!

It sounds like you had a very busy Christmas. I hope you were able to find some time for yourself afterwards to be able to enjoy the holidays for yourself. I have had to do other things on Christmas before also but it was worth it.

You couldnt have got me out there when it was raining and windy outside. I don't like weather like that. I mean I love it when it storms but the wind i hate. it makes me cold and makes me sneeze like crazy!

I didn't like being out in the rain and wind either! When I work out at the stable I work in all types of weather! From wind and rain to snow and below zero temperatures! I just do it!
