what do you do with your Christmas Cards? Our school librarian turns them into bookmarks for the kids to use. I love this idea. I haven't decided if I am going to give them to her or to turn them into gift tags for next year. If I get any pics in my cards, I do save these! I love to watch how friend's kids have grown up through the years.

I usually save the cards I get for Christmas. Sometimes, I reuse them for Christmas tags. They also make great ornaments to hang on the Christmas tree. I have never thought about using them as bookmarks, but that is a wonderful idea.

I usually just throw my christmas cards away. I don't see no use for them afterwards. Where i live i dont think a library would think of that. I dont really get pictures of my family because they are all older than me. This year I handed out my senior pictures. So hopefully they keep theirs.

That sounds like a great idea. I have never thouight of doing that before. That could come in very handy if I ever run out of gift tags to use. I use the ones that have to be taped to the package anyways. I had been throwing mine away before.

hi kimbers again having worked in the local library for years I always give my old christmas cards to the children's head librarian as they use them in all sorts of children's crafts. Some people give them to old peoples homes but I fail to see how this would help in any way. Schools can use them, and libraries can use them too.
